Deplorable & Disgusting – i have to qualify my review - i did purchase a car, however it wasn't without considerable pain and suffering. the only reason i went through with my purchase was i was well armed with information and got my financing prior as, very unfortunately, herzog meier was the only dealer in oregon with the specific car i wanted. the sales staff (gene) were awful - sexist, ageist, and downright sleezy. the sales manager blatently hit on me, and asked me if my boyfriend was overly protective and treated me ba... read more
Get your RUNAROUND and BAD SERVICE here! – From the word go, we've had the WORST experience we've ever had in buying a car. From the big, fat insulting sales manager, the inexperienced salesman with inaccurate information, immediate problems with a supposedly Certified Used Vehicle and nothing but the runaround concerning repairs, financing, missing parts, and even the trip permit... we just couldn't be more sorry we purchased a Volvo and, worse yet, from this dealership. Perfect – I left my car when I went out of town, it was handled perfectly, Mike updated me on the work, when I called on my return to get my car after hours it was easy to locate & the work was completed to my satisfaction! Thanks Mike!
Impressive – Do to the weather, I allowed extra time to drive to Herzog-Meier, and arrived about 15 minutes before you opened. An employee came out to my car and invited me to come into the customer waiting area until you opened the service desk. That is impressive customer service!
Misrepresented Charges – Authorized repairs up to a certian amount. They requested authorization for an additional amount. When it came time to pay, it was double.
Great group! – Called various dealers after our local one gave me the runaround. Herzog-Meier gave me the best price & the upgraded wheels/tires at the best price of anyone, so I flew to Portland & drove home my new Jetta Sportwagon TDI 5 days later. Customer service was great, no hassle in finance plus a full tank of fuel. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks to Yeon Kim, Mike Ross & Rich Kim. Great group.
I would give this a negative 1 if I could – From the moment we called this dealership the vagueness started. We wanted to purchase our leased vehicle outright so my wife called to get the payoff amount and see what they could do on a loan for us. They insisted we come down ASAP but could not provide any information on the phone.
