First class dealership – Herzog-Meier is a first class dealership/organization. Tom Herzog, Nic Perez, and Mike Lunt have always and continue to take care of my automotive needs. Contrary to some of my other experiences at competing VW dealerships in Portland, the HM team deserve praise and appreciation for their exceptional work.
Outstanding experience – The sales experience at Herzog-Meier is outstanding. My sales person was Doug Galloway and I enjoyed his sense of humor and never felt a bit pressured on any decision. I believe Doug genuinely wants the car buying experience to be as relaxed and easy as possible. I also appreciated the time he took to go over features of the car and offered that I could call him personally with any follow up questions. I am enjoying my awesome new XC70!!
Nothing but true professionalism – My son has been to the Herzog-Meier service department twice now in the past year for his Touareg with major problems. Each time the service consultant Nick has worked with my son, he has showed nothing but true professionalism. My son tells me he is the most reliable person you can ever meet, and he treats you like a family member.
Great customer service and quality work – My experience at HM was a good one. I had a BAD experience with another dealership just after I bought my car (warranty/tow problem with awful customer service) and so I stayed away from dealerships for 7 years. However, I had occasion to come back for a recall type issue and was pleased with the emphasis on customer service at HM. I got great customer service and quality work, so I'm glad I gave them a shot.
By far the easiest service experience I have ever had at a car dealership!! The brakes on my Jetta were making a strange squeeking noise and was due for service so I thought "do I take it to the Jiffy Lube on the corner, or to the dealership"...and after debating for a few days I decided to take it in to the dealership my neighbor recommended to me Herzog Meier to just get it done. Definitely recommend – I just bought a car at this dealership and they treated me with alot of respect. It was also my first time buying a car and they helped me with the whole process. I even forgot some things necessary to complete the paperwork and they were willing to stay after hours to help me drive away in my new car that night! I would definitely recommend this dealership to plenty of people
Courteous and helpful – I arrived to pick up my vehicle a little after business hours, and though the person at the pick-up desk was already closing, she was very courteous and helpful, and arranged for my vehicle to be delivered to the door even though the service department was technically closed. I appreciated her cheerful helpfulness, especially under the circumstances. I don't know her name, but she was on duty on the evening and she deserves a pat on the back!
Very good experience – Had a very good experience with our saleman, Ayman. A low-key, straight-talking guy who was very helpful on all fronts. Answered all our questions, cut us a great deal and had us on our way with a minimum of back and forth. No experience yet with the service department, but I'd buy another car from Ayman tomorrow.
Easy and efficient process – Mike was great, he made the whole process easy and efficient - this was probably one of the best experiences I've had getting my car serviced.
