We recently purchased a 2006 XC90 from another dealer. We brought our ride into Herzog Meier and were so pleased with the service. Doug went above and beyond in every way and helped us through some bumps in the repair process (having nothing to do with Herzog Meier). The car needed some spendy work done on it, but Doug made it so much easier for us by providing a loaner through the process at no charge. He kept me informed and imparted much needed humor through a very difficult ordeal. He even took pictures when my husband c... read more
Every time I bring my Volvo in for service, not only is it fixed quickly, it's washed and waiting for me to pick up. Doug Smith is one of the best guys at an automobile dealership that I have seen. This guy is a rock!
Herzog Meier Volvo (and Doug specifically) took such great care of me! I recently bought a 2010 XC60. When I called Jim Fisher Volvo to make an appointment for my 30,000 mile check, I was told that I "may or may not" be responsible for the 500 dollar cost of the service (it was my understanding that my FSM warranty was in effect). When I emailed Jim Fisher the next day to inquire as to whether or not I would be responsible for the cost, I received no response. Two days later, I cancelled my appointment with Jim Fisher. When ... read more
Had my car in for service. Doug made the the whole process easy and pleasant.
I am writing to inform you of my experience with Herzog-Meier Volvo Service Department on 07/02/2012. I came in for a fuel pump recall on my XC90 and asked to be called with an estimate for repair regarding the airbag service light I had on. At no point (initial appointment call, reminder of appointment call, call with the $1600 repair estimate) was a diagnostic fee discussed. Only during the “car is ready for pick up / work is completed” voice mail was I informed of the fee ($109). Although the fee was eventually dropped, i... read more
We visited another VW dealer before coming to Herzog-Meier. The other dealer was the worst experience. Sceptical, we contacted Richard Kim at Herzog. WOW!!! What a difference. He made us feel like customers of the year. We got a great price (as promised), we felt special and he was on the ball. Please see this dealer before going else where!!!
Doug in Volvo service ROCKS! From moment one when I called when my car wouldn't start, Doug took care of me - he handled the tow, kept me informed, went the extra mile to get me a rental, and even had the snow cleaned off my car when I came to pick it up! I could not ask for a more hassle-free, pleasant experience. If you have to have the unfortunate experience of having your car break down, you can only hope that you get to deal with Doug at Herzog-Meier!
First off, I suspect the favorable reviews for this dealer are fake. They don't even make an effort to make them realistic. I was interested in test driving a 2011 TDI golf and made an appointment to do so. The salesman Amen said "we'll have the car ready for you" When I got there they said they didn't have enough fuel in the car for a test drive. This is the first time they wasted my time. I ended up getting a much much better deal on a TDI golf from an out of town. What ever you do don't buy from these guys without shoppin... read more
Double-check EVERYTHING before you sign the contract! – My sales person was friendly, knowledgable and quite helpful during and after the sale. During the negotiation, the sales manager came over to "seal the deal" and did his job as expected but was too pushy for more overall comfort level. I was buying a car and not on a "date" so I over looked his hard line tactics. Then the finance manager I dealt with was truly a different story by adding in various dollar items not part of the deal, manipulating the contract trade-in a... read more
