Herzog Meier = Dishonesty and Fraud – I’ve had the worst sales and service experience with Herzog-Meier than I’ve had ever in my life before. Not only they sold me a lemon –a bad lemon- that was way overpriced, they messed up the loan application, messed up my social security information and messed up anything that they possibly could. WORST dealership from coast to coast – This place is one to avoid. For the last year, they made my life living hell. I bought a car after agreeing to the numbers they showed me. Two months later, everything changed, $60 more a month than they promised and they threatened me with legal actions if I didn't sign. Car showed problems right after. Worst, Irresponsible, Horrible Sales EVER – NEVER RELY on their phone sales on a car you see online. They will sell it our of underneath you if a person walks on their sales floor. Aman is the WORST. He never never returns calls. Patrick is nice enough, but his boss Tom is a chicken shiznit. Instead of telling the news that the truck I wanted had been sold already he called and got my email to email that message instead of telling me over the phone. Unsafe Service Department – My 2001 VW Jetta has been serviced here a handful of times since relocating to Portland this summer. Initially I came in for a check engine light which turned out to be an exhaust problem. Made My Appointment Easy – Kyle in service did a bang up job getting my wife's car taken care of and made the whole appointment issue a pleasure. They do great work and make it real easy for customers.

Very courteous and helpful – Everyone at Herzog-Meier (especially Mike Lunt in service) was exceptionally courteous and helpful when I brought my Jetta in for a minor repair. They even had my car washed, which was a really nice bonus for me.

Professional, Welcoming & Accomodating – Nick, Mike and Kyle in the service department are amazing. My VW is my baby, and I've always trusted these guys to take great care of it. These gentlemen are a great asset to Herzog Meier. To date, I have not met a more professional, welcoming, accomodating group.

Very accomodating and friendly – I called to ask for a last-minute appointment for service, since I was in town already (I live 100 miles away) - and they accommodated my request right away. Great customer service and very helpful staff. Thanks!

Worst service ever... – I made an appointment for the 10,000 mile service a week in advance. Drop off the car on time, service rep confirms it will be ready at 4pm. Rep calls at 3pm and tells me she just realized that they haven't gotten to my car and won't be able to today. Then I get there to pick it up and she just ignores me and stays on a phone call. Just a bad experience all the way around. Went to Armstrong VW, got the work done. Great experience. They're getting my business.
