This is the worst company I have ever rented a car from. I rented my car through Capital one and they said they literally said "we can't find your reservation and we are actually sold out" !! I declined the car insurance and they still charged me for it. THE AGENT THAT ATTENDED US IS A ***. what he did, was unethical and actually CRIMINAL. I DECLINED ALL INSURANCES AND GAS AND WHAT EVER THE **** ELSE THEY CHARGED ME FOR. after i called and talked to an agent from HURTZ< they said " sorry, you signed for that". Completely disatisfied. This is for the Portland Oregon Airport Hertz Rent a Car. Completely dishonest. Agreed to have them fill up my car on return. They explained it would only cost me 4.99 a gallon which is better than the gasoline prices in Oregon at the time. Basically, they would top off the car and charge me for the top off. However, that was completely false and I was paying for the entire gas tank. I never would have agreed to it if I had known. They refuse to refund and charge me only for what I used. Nothing was wrong with the car when it was returned. Now Hertz rental is suing me for hail damage.. We were 5 ladies in the car and only had the car for one day .. 8am-7pm . Turned in pictures of our day trip. Also sent weather report on the day in question. They insist on blaming us for hail damages.. They never sent a picture of the car with the damage done by hail...

Hertz should be avoided. Still trying to recover $400+ overcharge, more than 2 years ago. Terrible customer service.

I want to share my dissatisfaction with your store on 3541 Stone Mountain Highway 78 Snellville, GA 30078 Suite 8 - I reserved my rental through Expedia and when I arrived • one agent says "we can't find your reservation and we are actually sold out" but the next agent (lead or manager) says - I can have a car for $100 more a day then what your reservations says 🤬 • so now they have my reservation and there are cars available. • COMPLETELY UNETHICAL and ALMOST CRIMINAL

Every time I rent a car from this company it has mechanical issues. The employees customer service is horrible. I recently returned a rental, which was in dire need of an oil change according to the dashboard, and I was overcharged. When I made my reservation through expedia, my daily rate was $59. However, I called to extend the rental and the representative removed my discount and overcharged me. I called customer service to have it fixed and the employee refused to assist. They were misleading about their rental policy. They will not respond directly with me and they won't release my money back to my credit card for 7 to 10 days.

I had to travel to FL for a funeral arrangement, I rented a car at HERTZ from 02/09-02/10 and they took $461 from my account. They were charging me smoking fee ($400), when I DON'T SMOKE AT ALL! From the first time I called they mentioned that they will refund me my money, over $250. However, they did not!. I had to call multiple times in which twice they mentioned that they will have the manager call me back and never did. Rented a car through Priceline at Hertz, paid for the rental online ahead of time. The day of pick-up, due to their requirements of a credit card when I used my bank debit to purchase the rental, Hertz agents denied me of the rental and gave me a paper to request a refund. I requested a refund and was told 7-10 business days. On the 11 day I called hertz billing and was told I have to wait another 7-10 business days and it's nothing they can do about the mandatory wait. As of today I'm still waiting for my refund.
