If renting from San Jose deal Cabo, make sure you double check the charges. If you decline collision damage waiver, make sure they added that to the agreement. They are notoriously unscrupulous. I specifically told them to decline this as I have several credit cards that cover this charge. But I must have missed it as I had been traveling all day and had many delays and was 4 hours late arriving. I was absolutely exhausted and they took advantage. Hertz's business practices of charging a tank of gas when the vehicle is already full is not right. It's gouging people.
I recently booked with Hertz ahead of time for a trip to Cancun since I had a very tight timeline and wanted to use a trusted company. Upping arrival, I let the service rep know I was on a tight timeline and they used this to take advantage, making my insurance options exorbitant compared to normal. Rented a vehicle and experienced a life threatening safety issue. Not only did Hertz NOT address the issue satisfactorily, it took 30 days and numerous inquiries on my part to get any attention to this matter at all.
Worst service of all renal car companies. Forced me to buy their daily insurance even I told them I don't need it several times. Location: ATL airport Hertz.
Their is a clerical error in their computer system that shows that people who have paid thousands of dollars for long-term rentals as unpaid. They are sending police to fetch stolen vehicles that are not actually stolen and there are paid for legally through their rental system, but said system has an error that doesn't show the customers payments. The wait time was too long for 9pm on a Thursday. I had prepaid, as I always do, they had to have a card to "determine my identity" then charged the card $500 without telling me. The desk attendant was rude. You can't speak with a human in customer service so I had to reach out through twitter. Will never use Hertz again, shady business all around.
I just watched a hertz van fly past my house twice(I live right next to a park) going what had to be double the speed limit. He did not even slow down for the speed bump which is right by my driveway. I live in a gated community. Many kids including my son are out there riding bikes and playing. This is so unsafe and un professional! Not Happy!
Well I would love to leave less than 1 star. I had a reservation for April 27th at 9 am. I was driving there and at 8:40 get a call they have 5 passengers and that's it. I reserved a 7+ passenger suv. Which I would have taken anything that could hold all the kids. I was suppose to start picking up 6 teenage girls at 10 am.
