This review is particularly for the location on 11999 Katy Freeway zip 77079- Worst location EVER!!!! Terrible customer service! This location makes Hertz as a company look awful. Save yourself the headache and book at a different location. My first time booking with Hertz and I'm never doing it again. I will stay renting through Enterprise. You book a rental and they end up not having the vehicle for you. And still you have to pay extra for the vehicle that is available if there is a price difference in the rate. They didn't have what we payed for, made us come back to the airport the next day to get what we ordered. They were consistently rude. They failed to answer the local, national and online customer service lines for 6 hours the following morning. A pathetic business

Hertz! Car rental. On March 5th I was supposed to get my car that I reserved from March 5th to the 8th a month ahead and once I got to the airport I called ahead because I was going to be late t pick the car up and I was told its ok. As I waited to be kicked up by uber driver got there about 10min after hours just to be told they can't because their closed.. lie. So now I had to rent a car for a day from another place. I am so upset with hertz and their customer service. We got totally screwed in Orlando for a car for 5 days that cost us $876.00. We originally had the car for $52 dollars a day, when we got to Orlando they didn't have our car, and then charged us for a car $175 dollars a day, (only one they had) to find out they only let us have the car originally for 2 days, and then had us turning it in to the wrong airport. Awful experience with Hertz! Of course, didn't get the car we ordered (or even remotely like it) and paid for and we're shewed out the door by the gal at the counter who told us to call Customer Relations. Customer Relations told us the gal at the counter was the one who should have made it right with us.

zero stars! They emailed a receipt for the price of the rental, if I hadn't checked my credit card statement then I wouldn't have noticed they charged me an additional $400.00. When I called to find out why, I go the run around and told that we had violated the contract; but nothing specific was ever disclosed to us. I called the 800 number and after waiting 25 minutes for a person to speak with, the first thing I was told was, "We are experiencing higher than normal volume, call back in an hour." I have a reservation pending My Hertz Reservation pending for a 1 week rental in Charleston, SC. Everything was fine until I asked to change my rental for 1 hour earlier. This is a prepaid rental and I was never told if I modify it that my dollar amount would change. Now my card is being held for additional fees. This is theft at its best. I am looking for rental elsewhere but it may be too late to change this late and secure similar pricing. I will not use Hertz again. This is the first negative review I've made on BBB for the record. What happened was UNBELIEVABLE! Hertz canceled our reservation the day of our flight saying they didn't have the vehicle we had reserved. Isn't that the point of a RESERVATION!!!??? I asked if they would honor our reservation with another vehicle....ANY VEHICLE to save us from ruining the entire trip we'd planned.
