Awful, location in Columbia SC airport. Do not I repeat do not rent a vehicle from them. The supervisor has an awful deposition and her attitude is super nasty. And her memory is foggy regarding a conversation we had regarding the vehicle. Will never rent from them again and I advise you to do the same.

I will not rent from them ever again. Prepay for my car for a week personal vehicle in the shop. After the second day in the rental dealership called to tell me my car was ready. Return car to the Veterans location in Metairie, la customer service rep told me the price of the rental was 104.00 I paid 360.41 because dealership stated the car will not be seen until a week. These people are absolute crooks! I reserved a vehicle through AMEX travel for $268. Hertz then proceeded to charge me $543 in fees!!! $176 of which I knew I would have to cover but they charged my for 3 different types of insurance totaling $265 and then somehow managed to change my drop off time from 11am to 10am resulting in me having to pay $57 for a late drop off. All the fees cost double than the actual price to rent the car!!! Never EVER will be using hertz again and I strongly urge other people to do the same.

Wow. Not only did they not inspect the car before bringing it to me, but the trunk wouldn't shut so the Collision Pros had to slam the trunk to get it to shut. Then I took it to America's tires to get the tire pressure checked, because the car didn't feel right. The front right tire was at 28 when it was supposed to be 35. Then they told me I had to bring it back to their location just to get it checked. So I had America's tire fill it up to the right tire pressure for the car... but decided they can come get it. Fraud. I booked a car on a Sunday to be picked up on Tuesday . Tuesday morning the location called to say they had NO cars. I am unable to travel to see an elderly family member and I will lose the money I paid for tickets I paid to take family member to a hockey game. That is fraud, saying they have cars in stock when they dont. I checked the website again and it still lists cars for rent even though the location has NONE. I should be reimbursed for the money I spent on.the tickets that will not be used

I rented a car at Atlanta Hartsfield on March 10, 2021. I prepaid through Travelocity, the website confirms I was expecting to pay $67.10 at pickup. The line @ thrifty/dollar was very long and although there were between 2 and 4 agents, the line moved slow because agents kept leaving their post and going into the back or taking other breaks. We rented a car for the Holiday and I arrived 45 minutes at the location. I call the 800 number and mention of my situation. They toll me that they could hold my reservation for 24 hrs, which I agree to it. the next day when I went to pick up my rental the local dealer toll me that my car was giving up to someone else. I explained to them but they did not care. I call again the 800 number and they cancelled my reservation and mention that my refund will send in the next 5 to 7 business day. If it were possible to give negative stars, I would. This was a disaster from the moment that I went to pick up the minivan at the Houston Hobby airport. I have never seen employees actively look for ways NOT to help a customer. The car was not ready, I waited an hour for someone to help me, once I got help they said my car would be out in a few minutes. Had a horrible experience with 3535 West Colonial Drive in Orlando. Called me the morning of my rental pickup and told me they had no vehicles. Proceeded to offer me a much smaller vehicle when I needed 7 passenger. I had to take time away from my family while on vacation and contact customer service to speak with a rep and then a supervisor who both were NO help and acted like it was no big deal at all.
