Hertz is awesome actually Mr M***** is the awesome one he got me and my family a car and I don't have any credit and I haven't been able to get anything with my credit thanks to Mr M***** and Mr.s Mary at Hertz on I30 in Dallas Texas they made that happen for my family thank you guys so much. NEVER AGAIN! I rented and paid for a truck. I went to pick up the truck and they didn't have one. They offered me some little ratty car. I booked a truck for a reason plus my husband is 6'5 and doesn't fit in a car. The manager was rude and didn't give a **** that I was now stranded. I tried calling Hertz and was on hold for over an hour to only be passed from person to person. I finally hung up after the last guy could only say I am sorry but I guess they didn't have a truck. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM HERTZ AGAIN

I flew to Tampa International Airport from Indianapolis International Airport on Christmas Day morning, 2021. It was there I rented a car from Hertz/Thrifty. My rental term was December 25 to January 1, and my total estimated charge was a little less than $700. I reserved and rented an SUV from Hertz. I reserved it for 2 days but returned after 1 day due to COVID. They charged me for both days and refused to credit the second day. This is a bad business practice especially considering how expensive the rental was.

Though service at point of sales is good. Can never reach customer service by phone. The pre paid fuel is a rip off. Had a day rental got the prepaid fuel then due to severe weather change had to cancel the driving portion of the trip and of course no fuel refund so basically paid to not go on a trip. This policy really needs to be streamlined - match fuel return with mileage use or something to validate consumer refund request.

When i booked the rental there was a section to add the driver's information, so i added my husband. When I went to pick up the rental she stated i was listed as the driver because i made the reservation. I explained to her that i did make the reservation but I had listed me husband as the driver. She (Polly) was very rude and said if i would like she can just cancel the reservation. I said no, is there any way to add him and remove my name? The worst experience EVER renting a car... Very good experience with Europe-Hertz, but People, please AVOID renting car with HERTZ in USA... T reserved a MID-Size SUV, and received the smallest SUV I ever seen, the Chevy 2018 TRAX, dirty and no cruise control on it... . I returned the car after half of the period and THEY never refund the rest of my money. When I called to complain, they were refusing to take any of the reasons in effect... Hertz is HORRIBLE. I have had bad customer service experiences with them in 2 different cities. Their toll "service" charges 2 times what the actual toll amount is. Customer service via phone goes to India or China. Save yourself the headache and pay a couple more dollars to rent elsewhere. After my last experience with the nasty woman agent at the Buffalo Airport counter, I will never rent from them again.
