Don't rent from hertz! Huge line at the Lax California airport. Then old car with no car play we had to hold the phone . Not safe car my son got hurt when he entered the back seat in his head. Also they change $70 for cleaning $58 for toll doesn't matter if you didn't want to pay for cleaning and clean yourself or if you wanted to pay tolls when you pass or on the app! I will never use Hertz agin!

There is zero communication between Hertz individual rental offices, the multi monthly rental office, the roadside assistance program, and the plate pass program for tolls. Each one just slaps Hertz on their building and then use their own individual systems for everything instead of maintaining any kind of coherent and consistent method of organization. I will never rent from this company again. I rented a car for 2 days at the cost of 214.00, when I got the statement on my credit card there was an additional charge of 225.00. When I called the company they stated that the charge was all the fees. I requested the itemized receipt, and while going over it the lady said that we agreed to all the fees and would not put me through to anyone else. Scammed us out of the car we prepaid for. Offered us a car they knew we wouldn't want and then a more expensive option which we had to take ( of course! rip the customer off right at the start) made us wait almost an hour just to return the keys then never gave us a receipt. Now they are attempting to charge us 45 a day late fees and im pretty sure they will try to report the car as stolen ,as they have to hundreds of other unsuspecting customers. These thieves need to have their business license revoked. They quoted me $1500 to extend a mid-size car rental one week. Went on-line and mid-sizes were available for a new rental at $400/week. After an hour of being transferred between offices, I finally managed to talk to a real person and get it down to $500/week. I WAS a long-time customer due to my work. I'll rent with anyone ELSE but Hertz from now on.

Charged me 100 for gas when tank was completlely full when dropped off. Then when I dispute charges they tell me I have to provide gas receipts to prove tank was full.

I was picking up a rental I booked through Hopper at a Dollar managed by Hertz in Nashville. A woman named Billy working the desk near baggage claim who was managing the Hertz rentals (Dollar, Thrifty, Hertz) was extremely rude and went out of her way to make sure we had the most unpleasant experience possible. My Hertz experience was one of the worst car rental experiences I've had I have rented cars all across the United States Jamaica Hawaii Grand Cayman's and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had the individual assisting me With getting my car he was no help at all he was more interested in antagonizing me and making me more frustrated than I already was making a bad experience even worse
