Absolutely the worse customer service. After many years of being a Gold member I have tried 11-times to get a rental receipt only to be totally ignored. Go to the website and it says call. When I call it tells me to go to the Hertz website!
Hertz customer service can not provide customers with the correct information or a resolution of rental issues. The employees at 3323 North Military Hwy, Norfolk Virginia, and the employees at Norfolk International Airport are terrible. Unset business practices, employees don't know the company policies. Do not rent from Hertz!!!
Hertz would not talk to me on the phone so I had to try and extend my rental online for one day because my flight was cancelled. It was a $48 rental and they wanted to charge me $360 for one day extension. I had to drive to Houston Hobby to turn in the car and rent another for one day. Luckily, the representative behind the counter was able to extend the rental without starting over with a new contract. Shameful business practices.
Worst company ever. Cars always dirty and never serviced. Extra charges are put on the contract. How is this company still open.
Horrible service and a lot of misinformation. Hertz reservation made in 10/27/21 with payment upfront. In time of pickup, I was told that the car I paid for was not available and have much smaller car. When I asked for bigger car, they gave me a price not telling that this is a price above what I paid already. As a result, they charge me almost 3 times more then I originally agreed. Never deal with Hertz. Misleading customers is very bad practice and it should be punished.
First, one star because I wouldn't let me type this message unless a star was selected. I made a reservation back in March (more or less) of last year (2021) for December arriving in San Juan at 11pm. The employees copy your credit card info & use it. Terrible service as your being scammed.
Hertz reservation was made for May 27, 2022 pickup at a pay later rate for total due at counter of 136.53 euros. However, when I view the reservation online the rate no longer shows the confirmed rate. The rate currently shows 510 euros. When I contacted customer service the first time I saw the rate had changed, I was told to just bring the email confirmation and the rate would be honored. Worst service ever. Had a rental for 2 months, no one ever contacted me to foolow up and make sure everything with the car was ok, even after I called & emailed the service rep I dealt with & got NO response at all! I drop the car off and they tell me that it is going to be about a week before the money is put back into my bank account, not 2 days later they withdrew more money than what they were supposed to give me which caused my account to be overdrawn & they tell me that it is going to take time to get my money back.
