They were extremely rude to me, and I like other reviewers felt discriminated against for being a woman. They also ran my credit twice, once with my permission, once without. When I called back to inquire on this, *** was very rude to me. Every single person that we spoke to was extremely rude, and one woman even commented on how poor we were and how she didn't understand why we were inquiring on such an "expensive" vehicle.
They put a vehicle for sale in autotrader and when I called they should have told me they do not honor prices listed on autotrader. I drove a whole hour from Durham just to waste my time. he sales men are so arrogant the organization is not interested in selling cars it is just a money laundering front.
Worst customer service interaction. Adding ****** maker adjustment for several cars of the same type on the lot. Crooks.
I can't think of anybody that I dealt with in a car purchase that didn't lie. The Ad they had placed with Car Gurus said the car had a GPS and Blind Spot monitoring which it had neither, they tried to blame this on Car Gurus and would take no responsibility for their actions. The car also had different brands of tires on it, this they did correct. BUYERS BEWARE! For those thinking of Financing the car needs to be educated, I wish I knew about the scam before I even put a $1k deposit on a $72K car (Acura MDX advance package). The service department stole $915.95. They charged me for a part they never replaced. I spoke with their service manager and was 'assured' that the part was replaced but the original issue kept happening even after the Throttle body 'replacement'. Had a different mechanic check with his computer and same issue codes popped up with the throttle body and looked at the part. All I could say is I am highly disappointed on David McDavid of Austin. I trusted not 1 but 4 of vehicles. I have been a customer for over 11 years. My *********************************************** which I trusted everything they stated needed to be repaired was repaired correctly.
