The very basic accommodations are clean and comfortable. The hotel welcomes group reservations. The suites are great for families.

This is about as accessible as you'll get to the National Mall and majority of Smithsonian museums for the price! This hotel may be suitable for groups as they have shared spaces available. I enjoyed my stay,
This hotel is in the heart of the city and walking to anywhere is great. The hotel staff at reception were superb, friendly, welcoming and happy to please. We were a group of over 20 staying for several days and we enjoyed every day. Excellent meals/drinks at Harry's and yes, we would stay again.
Stayed in two rooms for a family of 9 during April. Typical of many older style hotels (100 years) now surrounded by a modern city. Perfect location, basic rooms in original building. The Harrington was ideal for exploring Washington - everything was within walking distance, and the very few tourist things that weren't, were easily accessed by bus or metro - both located just a block away. This hotel has the best location. One block from Trump Hotel. We are seniors who appreciated the historic atmosphere. Stayed in Room 648. Comfy bed, good air conditioning, great water pressure, small fridge and a window that could be opened for some fresh air. We would definitely stay here again.
The location is just a half block from Trump Hotel Centrally located in DC. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Room rates are very reasonable would 100% stay there again & refer to friends. This historic hotel has been there for over 100 years. A clean & comfortable place. Enjoy your stay:)
