This is one of the few large and affordable hotels in downtown Washington. It is located minutes from the National Mall, the U.S. Capitol and many museums and attractions. The very basic accommodations are clean and comfortable. The hotel welcomes group reservations. The suites are great for families.

This was a perfect location for our visit of DC! We walked to Ford's Theater, Smithsonian, and the Washington Monument. Parking was in a garage not far from the hotel. The room was very clean and perfect for our family.
Front desk greeted us with a smile, they were so helpful with our bags, parking, and they gave us a great corner room so we could see two street views!!! We dig the old charm! ;)
I extend my thanks and appreciation to the staff of the Harrington. My wife is disabled and uses a wheelchair to get around. The hotel has a double door entrance. One opens automatically, the other had to be held. I don't remember a time when someone, upon seeing us either arriving or leaving, didn't immediately come to help hold the door open facilitating our coming and going -- and always with a pleasant greeting and a smile.
Staff is friendly and helpful.Original doors, hardware are part of the charm. Everything is clean and well kept. Highly recommend.
The hotel is in an amazing location
excellent cozy hotel... lots of newish businesses in the area. very close to so many places including the post office mall and shops...staff is friendly professional.. i always enjoy staying there. this a great place for family or solo travel
It is easy to walk to anywhere in D.C. from this hotel.We appreciated that our rooms were tucked away in a corner.
Great location with a friendly staff and clean rooms.
We arrived at 7am and they let us check in. We were very happy considering how little we paid! It is close to the White House, one of the hop on-hop off buses stops out front, and there is plenty to eat close by. We would stay again, the price makes it well worth it
