I think it is a very modern hospital that runs very efficiently. All of the nurses were very helpful and friendly towards me and my family member. They seemed to give me options every time I asked for something during my recovery. The doctors that I had for my surgery were very nice to me and informative.
Pretty crappy that you will send a patient home with an arm that is totally dead with gangrene and it's black clear to her elbow and yet your doctors won't amputate or transfer her to a better facility for better care ! You need turned in to the health department and medical association ! If it wasn't a violation of my family members privacy I would post a picture for the public to see ! You are a worthless hospital who kills people !
My wife Cathie was in rough shape(Cardiac Arrest) and Thanks to GOD and a World Class Staff at Hamot Hospital everything turned out well.
I really like the woman's hospital. And the staff is very attentive and caring.
I seem to get lucky when I go. Always decent turnaround time.
I really don't appreciate your nurses making fun of how much food I bought. I got food in the cafeteria, and took a small extra up to my sister's room for dinner later (she had gastric sleeve surgery). I had a sandwich, some pineapple, and some broccoli w cheese. They laughed and said "Looks like there's food there for all of us!". Then they got off on 2 (surgery). I didn't get their names, it was a male and female nurse. The staff at Hamot were awesome. They were very kind and explained things to me thru out my 10 day stay. The financial staff were also very nice and very helpful. Thank you all for getting back on the road to recovery.
