Had my tonsillectomy done here by Dr Anon. The way everyone explained things while I was in pre op did more then just alleviate anxiety, it left me relieved knowing that there were plenty of people there to help out.
I went in today for fever, chills, fatigue, severe body aches, neck ache, sore throat, plus was dealing with an infected tooth. I just want to give a shout out to the ER nurses and Doctor that cared for me. They were so thorough and took so many tests to see what was going on. Thanks for taking such good care of me!!
I went into labor 4 weeks early while on vacation( I'm from Michigan) and had an absolutely beautiful experience! My nurses were absolutely incredible! Brandi, Melanie, Shayla, Jen, Tara, Katie, and Melissa you guys were amazing and I will always be thankful for your support and care! Thank you!
I visited the ER at the end of November for depression and suicidal thoughts. I felt as though I was lied to and treated as if I were stupid or a lesser human because of the way that I was feeling. I want to get the word out so that something can change. I was initially told by a doctor that I would be taken upstairs for an evaluation. After he left the room, I never saw him again. I found out later that night that Hamot does not even have mental health services, so I would need to be transported to Millcreek Community Hospi... read more

I would like to say that on 28 March I arrived at UPMC Hamot after suffering a heart attack. I underwent quintuple bypass surgery on 31 March 2017. I was released to go home on 5 April 2017. I still get emotional thinking and talking about my experience but I can say with the utmost confidence that the team(s) that took care of me all treated me at the highest possible level I could ever have imagined.
