Very inflexible. Does not communicate when there are changes in your account. I was sold to them immediately after closing. Not happy with them at all.
They put up so many obstacles to making mortgage payments. Can't create an online profile, website has been down, can't reach anyone on the phone and when I do I get transferred after being on hold for 30+ minutes. I was transferred to a vm and no one called me back. I wish Vitek never switched to Guild. horrible nightmare
I would give them 0/5 stars if I could. 2 months after closing and still no escrow refund. Ridiculously unprofessional.

Back in July 2019 we decided to work with Victor F*****. I spoke to him told him what we had been told elsewhere and what we where looking for. He asked for our socials/ ran credit no application was ever taken. After reviewing our credit he then asked for prof of payments being made to creditors that appeared on our reports. I recently purchased my home last year 5/30/18 and everything was great with Guild until I received a letter stating my payment was going up from 1460 to 1541 and NOW to 2040. Guild believes that my property taxes went up from 4k to 8k. I've explained to them and sent in paperwork to them three different times showing proof that I only pay 4k. When I first stated with Guild Mortgage they made a great promise - if I did manage to get a lower written offer from another mortgage company, they said they would match it. Several weeks before my loan closed, two other banks sent over written offers that would have reduced my mortgage rate from 3.625% to 3.35%. This all started over a year ago. Our relationship with Guild has been a nightmare since the begining with bad information to a closing from **** with the Title company. When we first went to guild we were all set up to do a refi and was told to put my spouse on the deed and in 6 months we would be all done. That information was totally incorrect. Customer service after the loan is spectacularly terrible. I had an insurance claim paid 2 party to include this company. They took the check and sent it to their corporate office where it sits unendorsed and the repairs are completed. Every time I call they tell me another 5 to 7 days. It has been 3 weeks. This company has committed an unauthorized credit inquiry. I have to file a police report, file a dispute with 3 different credit reporting agencies, have to file a disipute with consumer affairs, and have to potentially get an attorney. Jeremiah called me 12/31/2018 to discuss mortgage options with me. He said that Guild Mortgage would perform a soft pull only on my credit.
