You could actually communicate with your customers, that's a good place to start. Then maybe you could explain the insane charges, wild fluctuations, and unbelievably high prices. Your mantra sounds great, but you don't even come close to achieving it!
Too DANG expensive. I have never went over 150.00 with Stream variable rate plan, but griddy has doubled that in 4 days. Im getting out Monday.
Horrible. I moved to another company after only being with them for a week and they are still recharging the Griddy account! I have paid over $250 for that time frame. I get it, this is the worst time for wholesale, but this is not the plan for those that have a tight budget.
Sure Griddy saved us some money over the past year but, those saving have been completely negated this past week. Here is why we can no longer recommend Griddy. We've used 2362 kWh with an average cost of 35.1 cent a kWh for total energy cost of $828.21! Our all in rate as of Aug 17th is $986.27!! (photo posted on comments.) They talk a good line but the numbers they throw round are way off. By a very large margin the most expensive electricity I ever purchased. My average for the month of Aug is over 29c. Overall since signing up, well over 10c. Far more than most of the flat rate contracts available. It does not work out with the number they quote. Not even close. Had to move on to a simple flat rate contract else where after $800 so far in Aug alone. Stay away. Star FAR away.
DO NOT sign up with Griddy to even do a trial. My actual rate with griddy averaged 13 cents/KWH. I once had a bill of $260 at mid-month, extrapolating to the end of the month would have cost me $520/month which was 30 cents/KWH.
They recharged me $600 in 4 days with no AC running on 4th day and there are 14 days still left this Aug. No one has ever billed me $620 from Aug 1 to 17. I called cust. service and never received a call back so I swithed to a different carrier right away. This company is terrible, they should be named GREEDY instead.
it's a great Gamble! and why would you Gamble on your energy bill? paying $105 for usage of only 300 Kwh. The most stupid decision I made!
