This is the worst card company to get your refund the system is flawed and they block your account using false information that they have put in your account.
Got a card set up and tried to deposit tax return on card but card got "blocked" somehow. Thank goodness only $20 on account but they said would not get back and would be taken for monthly fees even though I was unable to use. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CARD! I believe it is a scam to get money from fees only. They said my account would close after all funds in account were used and they do not refund any fees,even if the card was not able to be used.
Used green dot first deposit i got they froze my card. Took me three days of calling different numbers to finally talk to some one who said they would have tech service call me and hung up they never did. Got ahold of some one online finaly they just hung up on me lol. Cannot send them a picture of my id there web site does not work and can not even cancel my card to get a paper check because it wont let me into my settings it kicks me off cause its frozen of. Never, never us this card. They gave me the hardest time. My purse was stolen . I called and reported it missing. Green dot had my money blocked to where I couldn't get new card but they had it blocked fo to wear I couldn't get my money Then I had to send them a picture of me holing my license, did this twice and never heard heard back from them ever heard anything back, so I called them. Green dot bank is the worst bank you can possibly ever get avoid this card service whenever you try to resolve a problem they were saying we're transferring you over but disconnect you it seems like only the Indian dissent answers the phone and you cannot understand them they are very rude when I ask the right question I've been dealing with them for four years With a lot of money going through their account but as of today I would not give one penny more due to the bad services of this card particularly rush card
My account has been blocked since Wednesday may XX XXXX. I called and was told to.send over my id and documents for my deposit that I received that they claimed looked like suspicious activity. I sent all documents and they told me 2 business days it would be unblocked. Everytime incall they extend another 24hrs. No legit reason why it's still blocked. They are a scam. They took my money and basically ran. I plan to sue them for MRE than what they took. Scam city do not use them
Total rip offs they owe me 1100 from April XX XXXX they said that they would because my money was stolen it is May XX XXXX and I have yet to receive if I could afford a lawyer I would take them to court.
Don't trust this bank with your money they is all about making money. I had to dispute a transaction they completely froze my account I have no way to access my money until I get a new card I was charged 5.00 for and everyone I spoke with was rude
