I would give 0 stars if I could, I have been waiting on a refund check with my funds of 11,000 dollars since 3/22/21. Customer service and also the supervisor are horrible, neither team is helpful. Give incorrect and inaccurate information every time I speak with someone it's something different. $7.95 monthly fee started to appear on my statement as of Jan 2021. Called them today and they won't refund the fees. They kept on transfer me to another person once after the other. Been transferred 5 times and on the phone with them for last 3 hours. I have called back five time and same thing. Green Dot is a rip off. Don't open an account with them and get rip off and go through **** with them.
I am having a very hard time getting 1,200 dollars back from these people that someone took out of my checking account, i filed a complaint and everything but they are not doing nothing but giving me the runaround and i am getting tired of it. I am a single mom with 4 kids. I work and had my paycheck direct deposited to my Green Dot account. I tried withdrawing money from my account and they said it was fraud activity so they closed my account and kept my remaining $1,900. They will not send me my money back. This bank is terrible after 5 months unemployment finally released all the back pay they owed me and this bank sent it back so now I will have to wait 4-9 months for this money 10,000 to be returned to me I even called them the day before I told him I was getting the deposit they assured me it would go in the horrible their customer service is terrible
I asked for a refund because I was unable to deposit the Card funds into my Bank Account. Fast forward 2 years... I have received nothing but lie after lie and lengthy excuses by incompetent Staff.
I would give zero stars if had the option. I have been a customer of GreenDot for over 5 years and have always received a replacement card a month prior to my expiration date. Today, I noticed that card expires 5/21 and I have not received a new card. I called Greendot customer service and pressed the option for did not receive a new card. If I could give them negative stars I would!! They have cost me over $10,000 which I still haven't got back! They allowed people to take money out of my accounts with zero care! They then refuse to communicate with me locked the accounts and now refuse to give me any of the funds that where in the account!!! I'm a single mother jobless because of covid and they don't care one bit they keep taking form me and breaking laws and not following their own cardholder agreement!!!
This bank sent me a card for an account I never created, asking me to call to activate it and set up direct deposit. This is totally unacceptable. There is no way to contact anyone without giving your Social Security number. Others online are complaining about the same issue. It appears to be a marketing practice that is very deceitful and could lead to ID theft.
