I have spent hours trying to resolve my dispute with WalMart MoneyCard/Green Dot Corporation regarding a $100 payment issued through the BillPay option for my account. This business is garbage I've paid my credit card on time every time for the past two years. I got a secured credit card to rebuild my credit at first I opened a secured credit card in the amount of 300 then I gradually added more money to increase my credit limit and better my utilization rate. I was completely satisfied for a little over a year, until my account was hacked online and in a matter of 2 minutes I lost over $2,000!! I am aware that these things happen in the technology world that we live in, so I immediately called GreenDot customer service and began the more than TWO MONTH ordeal that I am STILL fighting my way out of....THANKS FOR NOTHING GREENDOT. I've had this card for over a year. Have never had less than 100$ at any time in the account. I received my stimulus payments and had $3600+ in my account and I keep $500 in the savings account. Never had more than 10 transactions in a day. I don't use my card for 3 days. Then I get an email saying there's $1.50 or so in my account. I go to check my transactions and I see 297 different transactions between $5.00-$50.00 all going to Google Play. I think you all should have a fraud department and smarter people that work for you and that can speak clear English. I just got off of the phone with the worst customer service agent and got no results. I've been a victim of ID theft through the IDES (Illinois Department of Employment Security and they're using Bonneville Bank/Green Dot to fraudulently steal unemployment benefits from my account. Got my income tax deposited end of March beginning of April I had to verify my identity by sending verification sent what asked for and my account was closed due to not being able to verify because the names didn't match cause I got married so my last name changed even though I sent both my old id with maiden name new one with married last name same with ss cards and my marriage license and I still to this day can't get the money that's on the account they closed which is over $6,000 dollars
I contacted them several times to dispute a charge on my debit card. 2 people did not know what to do with my issue and one woman actually said she didn't know what to do and hung up with me. I called to resolve this dispute and instead of taking any information regarding my problem she just wanted to send me a new card.
