Horrible!!!!! No help, assistance, or customer service representative that speak clear English. Will leave you with no resolution- just three hours of holding time. NEVER USE
I purchased a reload on my card for $120 at one of their retail partners and was told to wait 24 hours for the reload to be added to my card. But the reload never came and they were giving some runaround about producing a copy of my receipt and my card to email to their "research department" to prove my claim. But even after sending them what they wanted four times, they claimed they could not read my receipt and as such, they refused to reload my card.
I was sold a card that didn't work. It took me 6 weeks to get my money back. They rely on your will power running out so you don't call back in to claim your money. I have NEVER had such a poor experience with a company. Trash.
I've seen the same complaint many times in here. I opened this account and I put money in and somebody hijacked my Account. I called them one day and they said no that's not the name we have on the account and what do you mean he said that's not the name on the account I said well here's my name and they took my Social Security number and everything and said we will need more info. Very poor customer service my card was blocked because of a return then I was told they don't allow refunds without proof of purchase to them not the merchant who processed the refund. Then told to email the original receipt with my info to verifymydocs@ greendotcorp.com and they would unblock my card in 2 business days today is the 5th day and my card is still blocked I have now called approximately 8 times with no resolution the supervisor refuse to give me her name when I explained I would be filing a complaint and hung u... read more
This company is trash and hold your money for no reason. I made a dispute of charges that green dot charged me thru their overdraft program when my acct was in the positive before the 24 hour time frame. The locked my card when I received my deposit from work and my kids child support and stated I need to send in my ID front and back and provide a selfie of myself. I did that called and waited patiently and still my acct is locked saying to write them a letter to dispute the transactions. I want my money outta this account. ... read more
This company is AWFUL!!! I have been trying to get my money out of this account for 2 1/2 months now and i'm about to explode on the supposed to be customer service representatives! Their phone service is very choppy! They hang up on you and have told me to send all this info through email and each time its different info. I need to send!! This is ridiculous! I filed a fraudulent dispute with Go2Bank who is through green dot and have literally had the worst experience and still haven't received any info or credit back to my account. I had +$600 stolen from my account and I filed the dispute on April 28. I received an email the same day saying what charges I had filed and that provisional credit would be applied to my account on the 10th business day. They are a rip off! Card wouldn't load, been trying to get a refund on my $200 since 4/1, it's now 5/15. Have sent the requested info (receipt of purchase, id, all documents) 6 times now and still have no refund...
