I have employed a visually disabled person, and she was to buy two $100 Visa cards. She purchased Green Dot cards at Walmart that works with them. When I received them and read that they charge $7.95 to use the card and $7.95 a month, I had her go back to the store for a refund. They said they could not. I have called many numbers for Green Dot, and only get an automated system asking for my SS# which I never gave them, and the card number, but it is sealed in the package that I want to return. There customer service is horrible when dealing with refunds. I purchased a moneypak card loaded it, but when I got ready to load it to my prepaid debit card it was flagged as suspicious. I could not use it. I could not speak with any one about why it was flagged as suspicious. The communication was only through email. This company is a rip off. They have you buy they cards then block them before you can load them and then claim it was suspicious activitie and make you have to wait for a refund and it never shows up.

BAD Company! do not purchase a prepaid card from GREEN DOT, they put a block on my card and now I am unable to use it, it was a refund from a retail store hundreds of dollars , store tells me the money was posted on the card and its up to green dot to give me the funds, green dot first was asking for copies of receipts I sent them 10 times, now they say my address is wrong , excuse after excuse!!!!!!

I used a Go Bank card through Uber. I lost my card and requested a new one, however never received the card. Call customer service and they said they will mail out a new one. Two weeks later, My direct deposit came and I could not get my money, no new card to use. So I went through pay pal to get my money from my account before my direct deposit came. ZERO STARS!!! Terrible service! Very hard to cancel your account. They charge an insanely high fee for service, and you can't use your card in some places. They will continue to charge your account even if you haven't used your card or have no money left and expect a payment! I received this card as a gift card, they took over 30% of the deposited amount, and that's not counting the initial fee for the card! STAY AWAY!!! GREEN DOT is a SCAM!!! How they get away with it is beyond me!

My son purchased a green dot card tonight at our local CVS pharmacy. He loaded a total of $361.00 on his card. He got home and tried to activate it through the 888 number given to no avail, I tried activating it as well, to no avail...I went into Google store and downloaded the green dot app and tried to activate his card using the app all to no avail.
