This corporation has a huge problem with providing information regarding the features of these prepaid cards. I have a walmart money card which i used to Mobile deposit a check to. 0 stars. They are crooks. I can call in and have my info recognized 1 minute and then suddenly they can't find it in the system. Absolute b.s. No live person ever. Large deposit says was sent yesterday but I still don't see it and the system keeps saying my info isn't recognized. As if I don't know how to enter my on SS# and birthday 5 times in a row. Horrible.

I would give ZERO stars if possible. On August 31st a fraudulent charge was made to my card for $75.00. The dispute was resolved on September 5th and the money was refunded to my account, however, on the very same day the money was taken back out of my account. I have been given 10 different stories and the run-around for nearly a month now. I tried using this bank's check deposit option on the app. That was the most horrible mistake I could have made. It's not easy to use, and if you are successful they put your check on a seven day hold. No warning at all. Then when you try to get it a hold of someone to help with it, the customer service becomes useless allthewhile you're left with a message like "Sorry this happened, there is nothing we can do about it, you'll just have to wait another week to pay all of your bills and buy groceries, have a lovely day"- basi... read more
On and around 7/20 and for 2 weeks, My Greendot account was charged $318.12 including overseas charges all small recurrent transactions (4 or 5 as little as $5 per transactions and as high as $10 to $17) to places in Belgium and France with vendor names Hippay wallet, Proximus, Imagix and Mode Lin. I won't go into the details because it's the same storey as everyone of the poor people who have been ripped of by GreenDot, do not do business with this company sooner or later you will fall into there scam of taking your money without any remorse. I was charged a reversal fee two times of $29.00 for my auto loan payment through a different merchant. I contacted the Green Dot bank to see why they had denied the payment for my loan and they stated I had insufficient funds. I was appalled because it had been well over enough funds in my account. When the representative checked that, she said she would escalate the issue.
