They are refusing to pay for pain and suffering and our egging people to call lawyers to put their company out of business . They lie about late payments when they are refusing payments month after month and then trying to ruin you .
GREEN DOT SUCK NO STAR
They own moneypak which has no available customer service. You can't reach anyone when you have an issue. I've tried every number available and it puts you through an automated system that won't actually connect you to a live agent if you don't have a card number or social security number related to a green dot card. It's insane that you can't find anyone to help when there's a problem. I will never use them again and now I have to find a way to get my money back.
New Policy implemented that requires an acct verification. I was not told of this nor recvd a correspondence in regards to it. They "froze" my card (although accepted the payoff amount on time as it always has been for the 4 months I have had it only 9 days PRIOR to freezing it) When I called about sending more money to extend the line further (Im repairing my credit and wanted to purchase a new bedroom suite but planned on using the card to make payments instead) I was told my acct was needing "Proof that the bank being use... read more
Do not use Greendot! I purchased a card today to make a online payment because my actual bank was closed. Only to purchase the card and not be able to use it online or at atm. They stated I can only use it for in-store purchases. On top of that they deducted a 7.95 monthly fee. I can not speak to a live agent and can not get any assistance. So the whole point of purchasing the card was to basically get my money taken by this fraudulent company. Appears to have had an account opened under my name. When calling to report fraud, I was treated as if I were the one who committed the fraud. Finally got a supervisor and was advised that the bank does not run credit checks (if they did, then it would have been flagged because there is an alert on my account) and that they could not provide any written information to verify that the account was closed and blocked. This business needs to be closed now. I purchased a $200 prepaid visa in Omaha, NE for my business and didn't register to use it until about 3 weeks after I bought it because I didn't need it. Turns out that the card was used 3 times in CALIFORNIA before I even opened it. California is thousands of miles away, makes no sense for me to use it somewhere I don't even live. My daughter was purchased one of your Visa cards for her birthday back in February. I activated the card back when it was given to her not knowing that they ***** a $7.95 charge every month. I was under the impression it was a one time fee. We went to use the card and the whole amount was gone! I Think this is ridiculous! Now she lost her birthday money. I hope that that $40 you took from her is worth it! Will Never accept another card from your company again and will spread the word to not purchase them also!
I direct deposit my check and they put a hold on my account. This is the first and last time i deal with these people. I have no money and its going on 8 days from when my check hit and still no results my cable is off and they wont do anything. I am so frustrated.DO NOT US GREENDOT
