My problem started in Jan when I ordered the Personalized card. I sat the account up online and then ordered a 2nd personalized card for my mom. As of today, I have not received either card and after several calls to customer service and being told over and over the cards will be there in a few days AND emails stating a supervisor would be calling me to discussed the problem. NO ONE has called and I was told I cant close the account and get a refund of what little money is left on the card. I have to spend the rest, HOW can ... read more

They deserve no stars. I can't believe they are still in business. How do you run a business dealing with money but can't speak with a human being. All you get are recorded messages. This is absolutely in sane to me.

Same as most other people I was given a prepaid card as a gift. They make you create an account with them to activate the card and then create a bank account for you and send you a "customized card" without asking you. They then impose a monthly membership fee. Simple logic dictates to call and close the account, but GOOD LUCK with that. Despite saying on their website that they respond within 2 business days they do not respond at all, even after multiple attempts over the course of a month. In my experience GoBank is scamming people. I don't know others but base on my experience, it's the worst bank ever. I have been calling for 15 days to customer service . Many times system hanged up the phone on me after over an hour of waiting . If finally got representative . They hanged up the phone on me. My case is simple . And I want it to resolve simple way , I don't want to file law sue to this bank by FDIC , Ferderal reserve , FTC , general attorney or file a small claim law sue. To make a long story short: In the last 4 weeks, Green Dot has mostly ignored my wanting them to contact me over the phone or email regarding numerous issues, including sending a personalized card in the mail, to which they NEVER ASKED TO VERIFY my current address; ignoring my multiple attempts of providing my contact info and when they DO finally decide to call, it's someone that speaks very broken English. I chose ONE star because it was the closest to a -10. My tax refund was sent to their bank and unable to contact them for explanation as to WHERE my money is. How they have remained in business is a real shame. Unacceptable. How is a lawsuit not filed yet?

First off the customer service rep that I was speaking to would not identify herself and refused to answer a question about how to replace a cracked card. Sounded like a recording. When asked 10xs what her name was it was either *****, Princess or Therese this is all I could make out. Terrible English and refused to let me speak to a supervisor or manager. Illegally holding our direct deposit check . Unable to contact anyone on how to unblock the card. I am unable to buy my kods food for the week, we will have late fees for rent and other bills. Holding my money without reason. Not answering calls or emails or messages. I have no way to resolve this issue.This is unacceptable, immoral, and most likely illegal.

This corporation is the worst. I have an account with them for gobank. They've now stolen money from me twice, fought me the first time to dispute the charge that they tried to steal. Their terms and conditions clearly state that in a month time period if you don't deposit 500 or more there is a fee. I understand that, that's fine I agreed to that.
