A disabled friend has her Social Security disability direct deposit to her WalMart credit card that was issued by Green Dot. All was fine until her card began to be declined because it had expired. I give this bank a minus -10 They suck so BAD. I applied and it was a pain in the *** first off!!!!! Then they screwed around for awhile to even get approved or anything. They took my $200.00 for a secured card. They have people that work there that cant even get a change of address correct. I moved and changed my new address with them . The person screwed up my new address and I never got the bills forwarded. The bills were sent to an address like 4 houses away. If I could give a zero on stars I would. This has to be the worse company ever. I was given a green dot card for a gift. Long story short I waited to long to close the account so it accessed a fee. I paid the fee and I called to cancel the account. The rep told me the payment didn't post to the account. So I called back when it did. This is the second time we've attempted to leave our comments. First of all, all 125 NEGATIVE comments mirror our experience with their "prepaid card". Gave it to our granddaughter for her birth day. She attempted to register it via telecon; however, the representative at the other end could neither speak nor understand English sufficiently to complete the transaction. I don't know if this will let me leave a review without giving ANY stars, in which case that will the only reason that this company receives a star at all. Green Dot has entered into a business partnership with Money Pak to allow transfers to a personalized Green Dot debit card, which I have. I brought 3 money pak cards and tried to load them. I was asked to to upload my id and I did . I received an email stating my card could not be funded because my id was unclear and that my account was locked ( It said my account was locked yet I can still get in). The email stated i could request a refubd, which I did. I emailed photo copies of my receipts and Id again. They won't let me withdraw my money from the card tax refund went there I can see my money even had work money deposited. But can't withdraw funds customer service reps are rude

I WISH I DIDNT HAVE TO GIVE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY EVEN ONE STAR. I did my taxes like I always do on taxslayer. Then it asked if I wanted a advance and well I needed to get the money ASAP. I was trying to purchess a vehicle. So after being lied to and treated rudely because I was asking them why they faulsy are advertising a advance refund check. My account was closed on Wednesday, March 6 without notification with approximately $1000. I spoke to Jayson and John in Risk Management that evening. Jayson scheduled a call back from Business Office to resolve this matter, never received a call. Please contact me ASAP. I am contacting BBB.
