I have had several failed attempts to get a hold of a live customer service rep. I am having an issue with my account and there is no way to get a hold of anyone.

All they do is rip people off Customer service sucks My money got stolen from Dubai over 40 Transactions. 2 months later I'm still trying to get my money back . I don't trust the bbb either cause look what they stand by they need a no star for green dot

Your money pak program is ridiculous. I have proof of where I purchased it and can't use it. I was asked to verify my Id and received a text from your company saying it was verified and still couldn't deposit my money to my card. I then receive another email saying my Id a valid VIRGINIA DRIVER'S LICENSE couldn't be verified and I needed to resubmit it but have no way of doing so. I have my entire payroll check deposited into the Walmart money card and I went to the Walmart store number 0669 to withdraw money from the ATM and when the machine said it was dispensing my money the ATM shut off and never gave my money so I called the ATM company and they told me I had to file a EFT with my cardholder which is greendot to get my money back well the people with green dot said I had to write a letter and mail it to there office which would take 2 weeks to review to file the complaint then an additional 10 da... read more

I would give 0 stars. Whatever you do DO NOT use Green Dot. Their entire company is fraudulent with extremely poor customer service. Honestly, after my experience with them locking my account for no good reason on a Friday night , I will file a case against them for negligence because I was stranded away from home and almost got hurt trying to get home with no funds.It is now 6 days later and my account is still locked. SHAME ON GREEN DOT , the CEO should read this and be very ashamed that someone could have lost their life ... read more

Green Dot is horrible! We used their prepaid debit card. Our account was hacked, every cent we had was stolen in one swipe. We reported it immediately, and have taken all the steps necessary for them to do their "investigation". It has been almost a MONTH, and we STILL do not have OUR money back. We were promised an answer today, our supposed "answer" is to wait another 45 days. FORTY-FIVE. This is completely unacceptable.

Their customer service is terrible , i have been calling for a month to speak to a manager regarding my account that was hacked but they hung up on me over a dozen times and i still havent got a resolution since march 6th .

This experince was horrible. i was in a hurry for some money and had a family member buy a money pak card. i tryed for 3 days to create a account with money pak. ( since greendot the card witch money pak can only be used on) When i finally was able to create the account i was not able to reload my card because of supposed activty this is laughable Greendot should not have a seperate company to reload its own cards with a different company

This card is some Bull Sh*t !!!!! They took my Christmas gift money from my children back in 2011. I bought these cards thinking they would be able use them to purchase items online. I know I'm late to post this review . But I ran across this card while getting ready to move. It still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth , this many years ago. I tried to contact them today.
