Absolutely the worst financial services company the I have ever worked with. Finally got fed up with doing business with them and when I called to cancel the account I was told my deposit would be returned in 6 to 8 WEEKS! How could it possibly take so long? These days funds move in a day at most - not 2 months. CRIMINAL!! I am seeking recourse.
WHERE CAN YOU CONTACT ANYONE! every number is automated and disconnects you ...your card says call this number if no web service, then when do it directs you to the web and hangs up..???..when you get on the web it tells you try again later...its been SEVEN hours and still wont say anything else...i put money on your card and am now screwed from what needed to use for, and i still cant activate the card and nowhere can i get help from your company , this is a disgrace...where can you talk to a human! ***-XXX-XXXX, XXX-XXX-**... read more
This is the worst business ever, I wish I could give it a zero. First and foremost take your business elsewhere. If you run into a problem your out of luck you won't be able to speak to anyone. The moneypak system was have a problem identifying my identity. So, I keep trying an finally it worked I went through all of that trying to get the money on the prepaid card just for it to tell me that the deposit failed. I was double charged on my prepaid account and followed their procedure for retrieving my money. It's been over 3 months since the transaction and have yet to receive my refund. I have even contacted the company that over charged me and was notified that they processed the refund on their end and it was green dot that was holding up my refund. A giant ripp off. O out $60 on a card at 7 11. Went to activate the card says can't valadez card. I try and call them and the automated system dosent work. There is no way to talk to a human
I put $40 on a Green Dot Card and as soon as I entered my personal information, the terms of the contract were changed. The new terms stated that the card could not be reloaded and all of the perks had been withdrawn. I was miffed, but accepted the terms. Then when I tried to use the card, there is no money. I purchased a card from Walgreen. They had issues with identifying who I was so they put restrictions on the card the card was loaded would $500 I needed the card to pay a a bill. 2 hours later they agreed to a refund if I sent in the Proper documentation which I did. I call back a couple days later the automated machine stated that I was only going to receive $492.5 back. Spent $400 on moneypak cards and they will not give me my money. I was verified online but that the card numbers were wrong...on all four cards purchased and even though green dot owns moneypak the online workers said they cannot talk to me about moneypak or give me a refund. That they are not aloud to speak over the phone about it all. Said I have to do online only. Doesn't make sense and I can't get it back online either. It has been a few months now and I've been seeing that they are doing this to multiple people
GreenDot is a total scam or fraud please do not use them. Green Dot has really put me in a hard place I had $900 in my account my car got damaged so I requested a new card they never sent the new card out after requesting it several times they swore that they were sending it out via FedEx because I had the VIP GreenDot card which requires them to send me my car within 2 business days I never received it so I finally requested that they closed the account after I they said they was going to close the account I was never able ... read more
