Horrible customer service and horrible business practices. I gave all my identifying information just to deposit $ onto my own debit card. Was told my identify couldn't be verified and they blocked my account after multiple calls to complain about the difficulties of depositing my money on my card.
My first time and I just want to now where is my direct deposit at they said 2 days before and I haven't received it I need my money so I can move where is my money at
It's been over 10 weeks now since I submitted a refund request that was only supposed to take 10days. They asked for a copy of my drivers license and other personal details and now ignore every request and it is impossible to get a person through their customer service number. Not only is a lawsuit in order but all greendot cards should be taken off store shelves immediately!
No stars. Was gifted a $100 card. When I registered it, there was only $26.42 on the card. Called the company-worst customer service ever. Wrote a letter, weeks later received a call from a supervisor, but I couldn't take the call. When I returned the call wasn't allowed to speak to a supervisor...had to complete a request for a call back...That was about 2 weeks ago.
My elderly aunt gave me one by accident as a shower gift. I wanted to return it so I could get the full amount of the card or even money minus initial fees. I do not want to give this company my personal information. They will not help me at all.
I cannot access website or app to register my card I can't get a hold of a human every time I call I just get the wrong number message
If i could give no stars i would. Most horrible card ever. If anything goes wrong like for example i lost my card and now i am locked out of my own money. Its been over a week and every phone number including the very number on this bbb page is an automated run around for uber go and then it will hang up on you. I have bills to pay and they are keeping my money hostage from me. I cant even online bank like they advertised untill i recieve my new card and activate it. They dont want to help you you they are all like programed to say thw same thi g got hung up on by 5 different customer service peoole they are not giving me my money they took out of my acct in 2 seconds they ahould put it back to my acct in 2 sec i cancelled a transaction and i have to wait 14 daya rediculous very poor customer service
If I could leave a negative review I would. Customer service is a joke and barely speaks English. They do not inform you that if you cancel a card that you can't make arrangements to have funds transferred to another bank. All in all I would give them negative stars if I could. Stay away from Green Dot Corporation
