They are horrible. I Still haven't received the refund check that I supposedly would receive 3 to 4 weeks max. It has been 2 months going on 3 and I still havent received a refund. Not to mention their phone call system absolutely sucks! It took me 2 hours to finally get to a normal person.

This company is completely unprofessional! I filed a claim against some transactions that were made on my account and per their cardholder agreement, "any unauthorized transaction disputes will be concluded within 10 business days". Well I have been going on over a month now with zero point of contact to let me know anything. Their customer service if you want to call it that, is totally helpless. I have been going back and forth since September over my account. My account is blocked due a a mobile deposit I made in September. I've submitted all proper documents they have asked for and my account is still locked and no one is able to tell me why and don't care. I've submitted sensitive info along with contact from the cooperate who can't do anything. Green Dot Bank absolutely is trash!! They have messed up my direct deposits on numerous occasions over the last year and a half. They don't process payments on time or at all, they kick payments back, with no reason as to why, that's caused my family to go without power. They charge you to use their own ATM's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now there is $200 just vanished away from my account and they "have no idea why......." even with all statements correct and transactions up to date they don't know why there's money missing. ... read more
The business is a scam. You purchase a money pak and 90% of the time it wont let you or the person you give it to load it and gives you an excuse that there is some kind of fraudulant activity detected and forces you to get a refund minus the 4.95- 5.95 you spent for the card. Then they make the process of getting ahold of a human at green dot near impossible. Its been 2 months and still no refund of my $500.
Warning: I loaded money to a green Dot card, it wouldn't register for use after 12 attempts, go to check balance, and find the entire amount is deducted for their service fees. Utter scam.
This company deserves to be SHUT Down... HOW THE **** DO YOU HAVE TO WAIT TILL A FRAUDULENT TRANSACTION POST TO YOUR ACCOUNT TO DISPUTE IT?... I HAVE FILLED A POLICE REPORT.....by the way this fraudulent TRANSACTION occurred in a state that I dont live in a store... well I was in a whole other state at work? I sent a Mobile deposit on 9/20 and it stated my funds would be available 9/27. I could not wait that long and called the same day to see if they could cancel the deposit. I was told they could not cancel. Called again Monday 9/23 to see if there was a way to expedite the process and why it would take 7 days to verify the check. The rep nor the "supervisor" had the ability to do anything, and both stated it takes 1-5 business days to verify a Mobile deposit. I have never bought a prepaid card in my life until recently. I purchased a Walmart Money Card by Green Dot loaded money no problem. I registered card etc. when I went to reload card I couldn't add money to it? I went back in to check all information to make sure everything was correct as it was only to be told my information did not match up to federal law info required.
