I'd provide ZERO(0) stars if possible! I purchased a $100 VISA gift card at my local Walmart, but the recipient's transactions were denied when he tried to use the card at another local Walmart. The cashier at the Walmart was unable to assist and every attempt to reach out to Walmart regarding the card has ended in a referral back to the card issuer...Greendot Corp. My card expired and my money was direct deposit to the card. I called the number on the back of the card to see how I can get another card or how I could get my money off the card. They gave m the run around the information they put in the system for me is all wrong I called the people who set the card up for me to see what type of information they had that was different and it was none. My cards were damaged and I had to order new cards. I was told 7 business days. It has been a total of 11 days and I still have not received my cards. I have been told every day now that my card will be in the mail. I am now told today that it will be another 2 days before I receive my cards. That will then be two pay periods where I do not have access to my paychecks. They also tell me that there is no way they can transfer my funds to my other GreenDot account. I would give them a 0 stars if possible. Bought a prepaid card and loaded money at purchase only to get an "invalid entry" message on the app, web browser, and automated phone line set up. After returning to Walmart to get my money back I was told they do not offer money back for the prepaid cards but they offered to try another card only to have the same results. I purchased a moneypak at the corner store. When I tried to load it into my card it kept saying error, so I requested a refund and was denied because I only had the activation status receipt which is the only receipt the cashier handed to me. I went back to the store to get the receipt I needed and couldn't get it. So I am out of $100 that I really need. Greendot is a sham, I will never give them my business again. 3rd time this year my direct deposit isn't in my account I've been with them over 10 years and tired of this happening I have bills to pay

This corporation has fraudsters stealing money via their accounts & only care about indemnification for themselves. Unprofessional, unethical, & automated to the point of resolution being impossible.

I had fraudulent charges on my account in the amount of $233.68. So I disputed them and then asked for the expedited option for my card as I know I had credit card bills to pay. They decided to select the standard option which is 7 business days so now I have $300.00 in late fees because someone didn't do their job right. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said all they can do is cancel out the card and expedite a new one at no costs (I saved $15.00) and now I have to pay $300.00 in late fees. In my experience, this business's practices are criminal. I loaded a Green Dot prepaid Visa debit card over two months ago and have not had access to my money since. At the expense of many, many hours of my time, disbelief, and frustration, I unsuccessfully pursued every avenue I could find to try and resolve this issue with Green Dot, short of giving them the personal information they demand to create an account.
