There customer service is nonexistent. You can get a hold of anyone from this company. Its what I believe is straw company nonexistent only on paper and electronic. No humans.

Given the choice to stand behind their customer or the theif stealing money with your card information, Green Dot Bank will choose to aid and abet the criminal Upon being presented with 36 fraudulent charges in states I've never been to, and being given a copy of the police report about the charges Green Dot did a "thorough investigation "maybe 10 minutesand decided all were legitimate and I had authorized them. Be warned they side with thieves knowingly.

$8 fee to use a $50 prepaid card. It's a complete scam. Not mentioned anywhere on the packaging.

green dot corporation is a rip off company they allow people to take money off your card without your consent and then when you cofront them with the problem they dont want to help you get it resolved unless its on there terms they need to be shut done cause they are no good they have screwed me over twice and im done playing

If I could leave a minus star, I would. My account was compromised on June 27, 2019. I called and told them to freeze the cards. They froze my entire account, I was not able to get any of my money out of there. I ended up going to the police dept. and making a report on July 4, 2019. I was told that I could transfer my money to another account, it never showed up. Today is July 12, 2019, I am still fighting this. First there is NO option to put NO stars!! They deserve NO stars!!!!! On July 1, 2019I purchased a Green Dot reloadable card $1.95 from Walgreens I tried to activate the card on the website on July 1, 2019. To no avail DID NOT WORK!! Tried again it said "you have exceeded attempts, try again later" tried next day. Same thing! Absolutely criminal!! I was the victim of credit card fraud on my Green Dot Visa and the disputed charges were denied. No one had access to my card or my password, nor did I give anyone permission to use my card. The successful fraudulent charges were made at locations in New Jersey; I live in California. Additionally, there were several unsuccessful attempts to use my card online. I'm assuming these attempts were denied because the thieves did not have all of my info. I purchased a Green Dot prepaid visa from Safeway and put $250 on it for a father's day gift. After my father called the number on the card and registered it he was unable to use it to purchase anything so we called the customer service number.
