Recently received a Walmartgift card for Christmas and when trying to register the card on walmartgift.com, I repeatedly received this error messages "a required parameter was missing. Internal error occurred." I then called the customer service number listed on the back of the card only find a computer automated response that allows cardholders to check the card balance. BEWARE!!!! This company is a SCAM. Their customer service phone does not work and online support is a joke. My dad was scammed for over $1,000.00 in cash cards and they won't help at all. Stay away!
No gift card should make you register all your personal info including ssi , completely ridiculous especially for $25. They also did not have a live person to reach on phone only live chat, witch is the only reason I gave them 1 star,
My account was compromised. Someone got in and made purchases on best buy online and in store. Getting help was impossible. The funds were returned but stuck in my closed account. When I finally got a human on the line she told me I would have to send a picture of my ID and a bill so they can send a check. Kept trying to tell me to spend the money in the account before closing. But if I called and told you someone got into my account why would the account be open and available for purchases. This business is awful. I'm dealing with the death of my baby boy and the financial issues that are coming with cremation and the company i had contacted took my money and have ignored all attempts at contact since then. So i disputed the transaction and was told that if i didnt recieve a response by the 10th day that they would credit the money back to my account. They waited until midnight on the 10th business day to tell me that they wouldn't help with the refund and wouldn't give me access to the documents that explained... read more
Green Dot is the worst bank ever!!!!! A company placed a hold on my debit card on 1/2/2020. Got paid on 1/5/2020, and the hold is still there. I called Green Dot (1/9/2020) and cust svc rep told me to have company call them directly to remove the hold. I called back today 1/10/2020, and cust svc rep as well as Manager told me that they can not manually remove the hold, and I have to wait 10-15 days for it to be removed by Computer. So I reported them to the FDIC.
This is the absolute worst company to deal with. Actually, I have yet to deal with anyone at this company. Ive requested to speak to a supervisor via CHAT option 3 x's, starting 2 weeks prior to Christmas.. I have yet to receive a call back within the 24 hrs they tell you you will be receiving one. I was given a ticket # for that request this last time I had contacted them requesting the supervisor call back. lost old card with negative balance of $15. lost that card, bought new card, i don't have a cellphone number only landline so can't register the card. so tired of the links. need a live person. telephone maze does not work!! links don't work!! this needs resolved!!!
