My daughter couldn't get into her account to access her stimulus money and tax return. The only way to fix this is to apeak to a live agent. Unfortunately, it's impossible to reach one. Not by phone, online or by app. To add insult to injury, the automated system warned of long wait times for customer service and shorter business hours door to Covid 19. They are the worst! They will steal your money, lock your account, then not answer the phone, email, etc!

No customer service. No one answers phones, trying to do an on-line dispute of charges is a dead-end. I used the card to make a purchase and even though I cancelled the purchase in less than an hour, Green Dot didn't remove the charge for 5 days. On that fifth day, they first took their 7.50 monthly fee for not maintaining a $1000 balance then credited me for the rest. I tried to contact them because I knew in the 5 days they were going to charge me another 7.50. Scammers. NEVER again..
An account was fraudulently opened in my name at GoBank. Customer service wouldn't help me unless I provided my SSN. The online form to report fraud doesn't work. This is an incredibly frustrating business to deal with, and I question their procedures if it is so easy to fraudulently open an account. (It also happened to a co-worker.)
They act as if they have no control over what they can do to further assist you receiving YOUR own money!!!! I been calling them for days!!!! Finally got thru just to hear they can't help I gotta wait!!!!!why????
I have had a pending charge for 2 months. The merchant released the charge on march 19. It is now May 4th. I have called all customer service numbers and get stuck in an automated system with no options to speak to a person. I go online and again all online options out you into an automated response vortex with no resolution. I send an online form and have been waiting weeks to get a response. I received a prepaid visa debit card as a gift card but apparently it's not a gift card and have read of similar complaints. Your online support chat .. no one is there. The phone #'s listed you cannot reach a live person. No email address just a P.O. Box. What do I need to do to get this card activated in order to use the funds without having to open a GD account and provide my SSN# and my other personal information? Or a request for a refund? Can I give '0' stars? I tried to talk to someone on line but there was no option to talk to any person, I even sent an e-mail to ask a question it has been more than a week but no reply. I really hate this company, who stole my money. I purchased a prepaid credit/debit card, when I tried to first use unable to pay with it.
