greendot bank has frozen my account and refuses to give me access to my money. I have called multiple times. They wanted copies of my license and unemployment paperwork. I sent that in and still nothing. My card has been frozen with every dime I have to my name in it for 3 days now and its looking like I'll still be with out my money through the weekend and beyond. I want MY MONEY BACK please!

Robbed me $75 after many, many failed verifications. I have given up on getting my cash back, and i am sure they have done this to many people.

I've been waiting for my $650 since the middle of March 2020 and I keep getting the run around about the card being blocked, and that they are working on the issues for an agent to just tell me that the card is blocked and there is no way for them to retrieve my money! This is THEFT at is finest and this so against the law for a company that is supposed to be covered and registered through FDIC to get away with ROBBERY like they have!!! If you are looking for a real review, please read. the only perk about this company is that you get your paycheck early. Other than that, DO NOT waste your time with this company. They are unprofessional, unethical, and only have outsourced customer support. I was transferred twice to the same department when I asked for a supervisor, and they can't reimburse me for a transaction that I did not run.

This company cheats you out of your money. They sent me a card without my name on it the read Valued Customer. I couldn't use because it wasn't personalized with my name on it. Then they charge me $18.00 for a replacement card. I initially open the card Apr.20,2020 I set up direct deposit and had my paycheck going in to this account every week. It been 4 weeks and I have not received a replacement card and I don't have access to my Walmart Money account. Lousy company.

I got the card for a one time purchase. After making the purchase I had a positive balance of $4.00, which i tried to close. I have been unable to reach any customer service rep. to resolve my issue and since then they keep charging me a maintenance fee. Now the account is a negative 19.35 and I've been unable to transfer money to this to close it. Their customer service number is a joke. It has been a headache since day one. Never, never use Green Dot.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I purchased a card to transfer $500 to my prepaid card so I wouldn't need to carry cash to visit relatives and it asked me for photos of my ID front and back. After 9 attempts in two days their automated system is still telling me the pictures are illegible. I've shown them to friends and recently an attorney and they all disagree. I should also add that it credits the money each time then if they don't approve your ID (within seconds) it will immediately remove the funds from your card.... read more
