Don't use this company I have been fighting since March 2020 when opened up the account within a month later I receive fraudulent activity I have been fighting 9 months now and have only got a few transactions replaced from multiple transactions made by same company. I report they deny my dispute. I've had issues with the Green Dot support side of Apple Cash for over 3 months. I've called over 20 times and no one can help me with anything. The best they can do is escalate my "issue" to their IT Department, which no one seems to work in, and "guarantee" me a call back within 48 hours, which also never happens. These people are a joke, their customer service is atrocious and Apple should be horrified and ashamed to have their name associated with such a low-rent, BS company like Green Dot.

Too bad we can't give negative stars because that is what this company is total trash! Had over 1000.00 taken from fraudulent charges from a spa in Italy. Called the same day to dispute was told we had to wait till it cleared, the next day called again they said they will review and can take 10 to 15 days. I have 1.51 and they alleged it was locked still showing the same spa trying to take more money out when it's supposed to be locked. DO NOT BUY THIS CARD EVER!!! THEY are terrible, first of all you can't even access your money on the card because you have to open a checking account with them. I just wanted to be able to load money on the card, swipe it and then get rid of the card with no worries. But now I have an open bank account with this place that has all of my personal information. Second of all if you try and withdraw the funds with an ATM you get charged twice, once from the bank that owns the ATM and once from Green Dot just for taking money out... read more

I have been going back and forth with them since 10/02/20 and it is not 10/28/20. My card was compromised and I called them. I was told that a new card will be sent out to me. After a week I contacting them by chat again as usually as no one wants to speak to you over the phone. I was told at that time that my account was blocked and as soon as I receive my card to activate it. Poor Customer Service. Trying to get a refund from them for a fraudulent activity of a direct deposit has been the worse service ever. I have been hung up on 4 times, and given the run around. While green dot keeps asking for the person this fraudulent activity belongs to and not that actual victim of this activity. The company I work for has no Employee in which they want talk to. Seems like a fraudulent company. Bought a prepaid card from Walmart, no information was needed for it and paid cash. Cannot activate the card since there's no social security number attached to it, and there is NO customer service for this company, only a machine that gives you a few options then hangs up on you. All Greendot did was steal money, that's it.

WORST BANK stole my money. Blocked my card for no reason I cannot access my funds They stole my direct deposit and there is NO customer service. They do not speak English are they are completely shady stupid people who cannot answer any questions. There needs to be something done about this company. I will be filing a lawsuit. There should be a class action suit against them. What they do is scam innocent people out of their money.
