I've been waiting for a replacement card since November 3rd. I've spoken to NUMEROUS reps and Supevisors. I even paid $15.00 to have it expressed to me. Till this day I have not gotten this matter resolved. I've been refused the number for corporate on my last 3 attempts. It's a shame that after 9 years of dealing with them I no longer want their service. I wonder if Stev******** has this problem.

Used Green Dot card to make Christmas purchases from Amazon. Amazon sent me an email saying the order could not be completed. After talking with Amazon, they referred me to talk to my bank because they were not approving the transaction. Talk to the bank. "The amount is pending" ok well Amazon is waiting to complete the order so can you release payment and send it their way. I was told its all automated and they can't do anything about it. I learned that a Green Dot Bank was used as part of a fraudulent SBA Loan using my personal information. My attorney asked me to notify Green Dot Bank to let them know that this had occurred and to let them know that any account on record that used the fictitious business name or my personal information was fraudulent. When I tried to contact Green Dot Bank, I first spoke to a customer service rep on a bad line that sounded like it was overseas. Purchased a $50 prepaid Green Dot credit card. My $50 was activated and loaded onto the prepaid credit card but the card number is invalid. Unable to use card for purchases and unable to make contact with bank to resolve the issue. Prepaid card was bought as a birthday gift.

Been trying to get a hold of someone for days. My account was drained due to fraudulent transactions and I can't get a hold of anyone. On hold for hours and then calls get dropped. Emailed three times, no response. Terrible!

I have had my Green Dot card for a year and have never had an issue. My money is deposited and am able to pay businesses or my bills anytime with it. I understand when some have a problem but I would advise anyone looking for an online banking system to try it.

I give three zeros review. I bought this card in a hurry thinking it was credit. I can't activate it without given my SS, it is not going to happen! You can never speak with nobody on the phone so I went on their chat; the person said I could activate without registering by going back to the store I purchased it and getting a pin, NOT TRUE! They are crooks!

NEVER BUY THIS THEY CONTINUE TO ASSESS MONTHLY FEES EVEN AFTER YOUR BALANCE IS ZERO!! THEY SAY YOU CAN CLOSE YOUR ACCT BEFORE IT ZEROs OUT AND HAVE YOUR BALANCE MAILED TO YOU. HOWEVER WHEN YOU GO ON CHAT AS THEY SUGGEST THEY SIMPLY DO NO ENGAGE AND LET THE CHAT TIME LAPSE. F.Y.I. CHAT PERSON'S NAME WAS Aakanksha Hmmm? I BELIEVE THIS COMPANY TO BE A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!! WISH I HAD BEEN AWARE OF THE THOUSANDS OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE I PURCHASED THIS CARD ERRONEOUSLY THINKING IT WAS A GIFT CARD.
