Very unprofessional. I do not suggest using them for anything related to $$$$!!!!!! They are liars and scammers. The cheapest ones to. I have been told my visa debit was coming in the mail time after time for 2 months now. I had my stimulus check of 600$ deposited on Jan 7th 2021. It is feb 24th 2021 today. My checking account is down to 552$ and I have not spent a penny. It is impossible to contact a representative or speak to a live customer service agent. I would give them a 0 if I could. Customer Service is a joke. You get put on hold for 10-15 mins, then hing up.on when you ask to be transferred to the dispute dept. Then, when you finally get to the right dept, they can only dispute transactions that are not pending, instead of stopping them before they clear. They have 2 weeks to decide to not put them through. They take funds out in a day, but it takes 2 weeks to get them back. Including the pending process, thats almost a month! They are holding my money a whole month. S... read more

Absolute scam of a company that should not be allowed to do business and should lose their accreditation. They claim if you run out of funds they will automatically close the account but they continue charging fees so your account will go into the negative. Do not buy this for anyone.

Getting help with fraud claims is nearly impossible! They do not seem to have a dedicated fraud department. They just left us on hold time after time. DO NOT DO business with this bank if you value your money.

This company is the worst customer service I have ever ever dealt with ever ever they do not answer your question and they push you to other companies to deal with the issue instead of handling them themselves. Worst bank I have ever worked with do not recommend using them for anything

One star is too much. If someone cheated you or treated you unfairly, would you give them a star? Well that situation applies here. Green Dot Corporation is a company based on opportunity. And this is, they will wait until the opportunity arises to get one over on you. Trust me, they will. If you decide to do any business with this company, you will experience frustration from the lack of customer service to the practices implemented along the way. I received a gift card (debit card) for my son from his grandmother. I was reluctant to sign up as it required my social, but also did not want to money to go to waste sitting on a debit card. I assume she thought it was a good idea. I signed up, immediately used all of the funds and read on the website that once the card hits $0, it would be cancelled, nothing more to do. They have truly terrible customer service, I was transferred over four times and I was on hold for most of the call and I spend over three hours on the phone. I have better things to do in the day and I need the money stolen my account to be retrieved but they didn't help me at all.
