My account(GoBank) had a transaction that I did not make, which took all of my money out. Had to wait two weeks for it to get out of pending and for a new card to arrive. The transaction was taken care of but my money has never been replaced back into my account. Customer service simply hangs up on me every time I call them, after being on hold for around 30 minutes each time. Horrible company, even worse customer service, do not put your money into any of their accounts!!!
Horrible company. Received one for a gift and had to open an account and then they deduct a monthly fee of almost $8. Would NOT suggest this brand of gift card/Visa to anyone. Very dissatisfied!!!!

I received a Walmart MoneyCard in the mail yesterday, even though we had never ordered one. Presumably someone else applied for this debit card in my name using my personal information, although the applicant and/or the issuing corporation had the wrong house number (and correct street) listed for our address. I woke up this morning and tried to go do laundry along with getting my boys haircuts. I tried withdrawal money out of my account with Green Dot to sadly read,"This transation has been declined by your Financial Institution. Bought walmart money card from walmart on ave J and 20th street east in Lancaster ca. Loaded it with $100.00 at time of purchase. Called green dot customer service number on card and they wont take my call since the card isnt registered yet. Said i must use website to register. When i go to website and tried to register the card it said cant validate card purchase. Try back later. I have tried 3 times. Same thing! I receive this card for a Christmas gift and it had $25 dollars on it. I tried to use it and it was no good. I am being charged $5.00 a month for fees. They don't answer their phone, and don't answer online. At this point, they can have the balance of the $20 and all I want to do is deactivate this card and my information. I have been trying unsuccessfully for over 3 weeks to try and speak to someone at Greed Dot Bank in regards to closing my account, which was created when I received a Visa Debit gift card for Christmas 2020. The gift card was for $20. I used $12 for gas and then was charged $7.95 fee, which left .05 on my account. Of course there is money left in the account so that Green Dot can continue to charge $7.95 a month service fees. This company cannot be legal. After opening an account to hold onto extra money for savings they drained the account. They then charged the account into a negative balance after telling me the account was closed. I paid to have my balance back to zero and on their website it says shortly after your account will be closed however it never closed. It then went negative again.
