I sent a person money through google pay and when I followed up with google to try & get my funds back they blew me off. They told me " there was nothing to investigate". I have proof that I sent the money to the person and other pictures.. Google pretty much couldn't be bothered.. Therefore I am out of $900 and had to go through my bank...

Google (Alphabet) is in charge of YouTube, they make money off advertising. I was showed a cryptocurrency scam advert that I had to watch for a length of time before being allowed to skip it. There is no oversight on the advertisements on that platform, ads that are scams can cost people thousands of dollars all while Google profits from them. They are accessories to this crime and should be held accountable.

I have been trying to buy a game from Google Play Store for 5-7 days, but the transaction was always declined. I then contacted Google Play customer service. The game is $2.15 with tax. Contact 1: I was told that the problem was caused by the developer was updating the payment system. I should be able to purchase it in an hour or so. Tried the next day, still did not go through so I decided to wait for a few more days. Our business receives calls daily wanting us to verify our Google listing. I have asked repeatedly for them to quit calling. Last week after questioning the so called representative of Google of why they allowed people to submit bad reviews but did not allow our company to remove them, I was called foul names and told that my business would be marked temporarily closed if I didn't agree to pay for my listing. Google charged my credit card for a replacement Nest a day after the original was returned and signed for. Originally I was repeatedly told 30 days for a return then emailed me that it was 21 days, the faulty thermostat was returned and signed for by Google one day before the new due date and then today they charged me $200 for the replacement. Back in mid October 2020 I purchased a new Pixel 4a shipped and sold from Amazon as an authorized distributor. I ported my number from google voice to google fi. Waited three days from porting and then contacted google fi to start a ticket about not being able to receive texts. Today 1/1/2021 the issue is still not 100% resolved.

Terrible customer service. Would love to sign up for gsuite but can't even get answers to simple questions. They make it so difficult to reach support. You'd think for a company of this size they could compete on support. Guess I'll go piecing together some business solutions with companies like Box that are still "small enough" to care about outstanding customer support.
