I was dissatisfied with the product quality of a new phone that I had purchased through Google Fi, and after speaking to a customer service representative I was told that I could return the phone and would not be charged the remainder of the promotion cost. However the charge was still showing on my monthly bill, I spoke to 3 different service reps who all ensured me that my bill would be corrected and I would not be charged for the returned product, but was indeed charged. It's a shame that a billion dollar company can't accommodate a customer for them having made a really bad product. Unfortunately I purchased their pixel buds because I am a Google customer/user and truly regret it because now I'm out of the money for a product that doesn't work. I filed a claim to get get a replacement on my original purchase because the battery life was going too quickly on one of the buds. Eight months ago, this company deleted the music app I was paying for, and replaced it with a dysfunctional app that can't do basic functions like play and shuffle. I've been leaving one star reviews and making requests for tech support since then, but they have made not corrected enough issues to make it a fully-functional app that can reliably play music. I have paid $17.99/month for 8 months, totaling over $140 for this scam.

UNBELEIVEABLE!!! call center support is of course in the Philippines!!! all you get is someone who says they are reception and will transfer you but then hangs up on you !!!! I wanted to buy and ad and this is the service they give you!!!! I need to place my new business but says I owe from an old ad 3 years ago and there is no one to help me with billing but I have to watch a u tube video!!!!

No integrity. The sales rep told me I would get $100 rebate while knowing I was a previous customer. Later reneged on the $100 rebate because I was a previous customer. Happy to lie too you to sell it too you. I'm just getting started Google FI. It would have been worth it to do what you agreed and said you were going to do.

My Gmail account was recently hacked and it caused a ripple effect of me also losing access to everything else that was linked to that email account. One of those happened to be my cell service, which was with Google Fi and linked to said account. My Gmail account was also set up with 2FA, with google Fi number being one way to verify me. This also caused me to lose access to my iCloud, which was also on 2FA with same phone number and back up number being with google voice. They have been continuously charging me for data that I don't use. I tested this by using my wifi in my 1BR condo, and checked my data an hour later, my usage went up by .7 GB. How is this even possible? Unlimited data is $60, and I asked them to at least credit me for that amount. They refused asking for proof and saying they can't help me. Keep away from Google Fi!!!!! I used Google Fi exclusively for oversea communication before the Covid-19 pandemic. Since international travel has been restricted, I do not have any need for the service anymore until the next international trip. I have suspended the service but it was implicitly resumed after 6 months. I was charged for over $200 before I noticed the activity three months after the service resumed. The Google Pixel has a known camera issue that's affecting more and more customers, but Google has done nothing to replace or recall the phones. My phone was affected, and after over an hour talking to customer service, the only options I was given were to pay to have the phone repaired or to trade it in.
