WARNING: DONT BANK HERE. They will turn your world upside down. In a little over 3 weeks - Disappointed - (****/41n Branch) Opened acct, 3 weeks later accessed it w/my card just to get a ************ gave me $20 which made me not have enough to pay my rent. Golden froze my account because they didnt like a mobile deposit. Did they call me, no. Dont do business with them shady af. Now my life is upside down cause I have to open a new account. 0 stars!!!!!
We have had several accounts with Golden 1 (G1) for the past 20 years, including checking, savings, equity line of credit and car loans. We had a catastrophic flood recently and the insurance company gave us a check to fix it. Our main bank, ***** Fargo, signed off on the check and then we took it to Golden 1 to deposit. I went into the back for a new bank card an I was told I couldnt get a new card cause my auto loan was behind. I had a promise to pay on file an was told to go to the bank an get a new card by member services there is no rule or law stating that they can do this. Unfortunately I have banked here for 8 years too long. I have a credit card dispute purchase that has involved 11 phone calls to the call center and one in person visit. All I've gotten was the run around and can't pay my rent because this greedy company wants to keep my $710.48 for a vacation package through Booking.com that had no reservation. They most certainly do not have their customers best interest. Do business elsewhere.
Open was Golden one credit union for 20 years and overall I would say their customer service *****.Recently they charge me a high interest rate on a balance that I had already taken out-The payment had already posted and two days later they hit me for a higher interest rate and they will not correct it Greedy
It's bull that your machine eats up the cash that is being deposited into my ************ I have to put a claim in just to get my money back and now I am short on my car payment. What kind of BS is that? Your bank won't even help just with an overdraft, knowing it was your bank and cameras are everywhere. I am short $101 because you as a company don't want to do s*** about it.
Golden 1 is ridiculous and so am I for wanting to stay with them. Anyway, I already have a checking and savings account. I tried to open up another checking account, I was denied and told I was in the checks system (lies). I tried to open up a savings account and was told I closed out another account with a negative balance on August 10th (lies).
