Awful customer service. All they care is bringing your money into their bank. Im a little frustrated of what they have done to my account and freeze my bank account. Employees at this branch are heartless and dont care wether you have food in the table to eat or not. Im very very upset right now because I cant even touch my own money and would like to file a complain to BBB. Golden1 bank is being advertise on Instagram scam.

I use Golden 1 Credit Union for my auto finance company. On 10/24/2017 I had my vehicle repossessed do to their lack of responsibility. I have mailed multiple checks out to them with no issues in the past until now. They claimed I have been late for 180 days, when I spoke with their staff they gave me attitude and disrespect. I would recommend that you steer clear of Golden 1. They tried to illegally foreclose on my home. I got into some financial trouble during the recession and did fall behind on my payments. When I contacted Golden 1 to offer to settle the debt or begin payments again they refused to deal with me and said I COULD NOT make payments because of the bankruptcy I had to utilize due to the recession. They did an exceptional job on our home loan application. Initially we were working with another loan officer from **** ******** and were 9 days into our contract with the seller. I have been a customer for almost 20 years. I deposited checks through the ATM because I had to get to work before the branch opened. They put holds on both checks even though I deposit the same amount every month for years. When I called to resolve they refused to fix it. They are holding one check for almost two weeks. Horrible customer service. I will be removing all of my cash from the bank and closing my accounts.

Golden 1 is a bank I used very infrequent while I was working construction. At first I thought they'd enable me to improve my overall business as a checking company with a relatively low initial deposit. I was wrong. My overall experience with the staff that worked in this company, was one of a lack of attention to my needs, when I had checks, I wished to process in my account.
