I didn't know there's a timeframe for when a check has to be cashed when there is no expiration date on the check yet Golden One sent me back six checks as stale checks without even trying to cash five were payroll and one was a birthday check never had this problem with my other banks. I will be closing my accounts "

Bad credit union. Bad People. Bad processes. When they **** up, they **** **** behind their processes, blame you for their mistake, and require that you prove their error. Golden 1 will not own their mistakes and in my opinion they are a case study in why one should bank at another institution.Earlier this year, I paid off a loan with Golden 1. I have had 2 business in the last few years. one closed due to COVID but one managed to stay afloat. I applied and was approved for a ppp loan to support my business and my Hard working employees. The day my funds were put into my account I went into golden 1 to withdrawal funds so I can take care of business related expenses, only to be told that my funds were being held until I could prove I had an actual business something about ppp fraud. I am a male aged 34, and have been a customer of Golden One Credit Union for the past few years. I have a great track record on my end of using my accounts consistently and appropriately, and while interactions are always brief and sub par, my relationship with your institute has been pleasant enough. ******** on hold, documents provided, complaint filled with *************************** and Attorney General. I will Close this account once my money is release for my Boutique and *********** products. This isn't my first loan, the first one was not held. I was told it was to prevent fraud, makes no since to me as the money was direct deposited and did not come from Golden 1. I Dont need this acct I have another credit union I just keep this account. I will close it now and would not recommend anyone to bank here."

I received my ******** that *** approved and golden 1 credit Union put a permanent hold on the funds. I called and spoke with a customer service representative and they said they put it on hold because the loan went on a regular debit card and not a business card so now they want me to wait for the mail to come to send information in that Im pretty sure Ive already had verified by the *** before the loan was ever approved. Can you guys please get golden 1 to fix this issue.

They changed the mobile app and now my phone is not compatible. I call BS. I'm not going to purchase a new phone so I can get their mobile app. I am not an apple product consumer and this is an outrage"

******* is engaging in discriminatory, unfair, and deceptive practices. I closed all my accounts and paid off my loan (that was never late) when I discovered that ******* has an undisclosed policy that ******* will without notice or authority, take the inbound *** EIDL deposits out of your account or block access.
