Hi . So I got a charge I didnt recognize . So I called Golden 1 and reported it . So it took a couple of weeks and they gave me back my money . So today I was checking my account and they took the money back . They said I did use it but I could had use my card in ******* when I was in ********** . Thats where I live and my son was visiting me that day and I have proof from his amtrack ticket . I just want my money back
We had a mortgage with Golden 1 Credit Union. The loan was paid in full on June 11, 2024. We have yet to receive a release of lien. We have contacted Golden 1 numerous times without resolution. We recently filed a complaint with the ************************************************************ and with **************************, the mortgaging servicing entity for Golden 1.
We have been trying to get results of our money that we have sent to them on our Motorhome since 2020. Our balance has not changed we have sent over $55,000 for over 5yrs. We have called about this we are getting no answers talked to 4 different people and we will be seeking out an attorney to get this resolved. Nobody can tell us anything.
I would leave a zero if I could. I have been fighting Golden 1 for over a year trying to get the title to my car. They keep telling me they mailed it and every time I talk to someone I get a different answer on how long it's going to take to get it. This is beyond ridiculous and I will be reaching out to my lawyer to sue the company as this is costing me money for the vehicle I legally own yet cannot sell because they haven't provided me with my title. If I could leave a zero star review I would. I open A account by starting online, they sent me my debit card. It never worked one into the branch. They said I was committing fraud because my mothers maiden name wasnt usual and my email address didnt match with their algorithms. Ive had the same email address for 25+ years. I only put $100 in this account. They will not let me take any money out today I went in with all my paperwork to show them. I am who I am. My social bill is mailed to me to my address. AVOID THIS BANK AT ALL COST!!!I recently moved to the area and figured I should start moving things over to a local institute and saw a lot of Golden 1 bank locations so thought it would be a good choice. I was SO wrong!I opened my account online and funded it by moving money from my current bank. Even got my online banking set up on their app. They mailed me a debit card and a check book with no other communication. I went on the app to activate the debit card and was locked out. Golden One sets their customers up for failure! Ive been a customer since 2016. And still to this day Im stuck with their free checking option, cannot grow into the next checking account option because they make it impossible to do so. If you have ONE overdraft you must wait another 12 months without one to qualify- which would be fine if their system wasnt set up for you to not be able to grow. I used to think they were a great company to work for and bank with ! Turns out that they are not and them being non profit isn't 100% accurate ! They laid off myself and several other employees last October 2023 due to work volume just to turn around and start hiring again a few months later! The severance received was taxed like crazy! Probably the worst experience I have had with a bank. Their customer service has a severe lack of follow through. We have chased our tails trying to work with them through their process to re structure a loan they took over and at the end they decided they wouldnt do it anymore. Citing that they called us on a weekend and we didnt respond in time. They called us on a Saturday (we were out of town) and we called them first thing Monday morning.
