This dealership isn't just dishonest, it is fraudulent. We had negotiated a sale of a 2007 ****** Forester. They had shown me a ****** report that showed a great car, albeit older car. I had given them a check and was ready to walk out the door. My buddy, who works at another dealership, called me in a panic to not buy the car. He had pulled up the ****** and found out that Gerald Nissan had presented a fraudulent ****** report to me which had failed to disclose a tow-away accident. I returned the car, revoked my check. The report showed 1 accident. Before signing paperwork, an additional ****** report from a third party source showed 2 accidents, not the 1 that ********* showed. We apologized a number of times for the inconvenience and returned your check. We never had you sign the paperwork, take delivery of the car, or cashed your check. I purchased a used car from Gerald Nissan and withing days of the purchase I discovered a few issues. All subsequent attempts to get any form of resolution for my issues were ignored. No level of management ever responded to my issues. E-mail, phone etc, all detailing my issue never resulted in a response. The customer came in a purchased the vehicle on April 27th. The car was in excellent condition, and very well taken care of by the previous owner. Three weeks after buying the car, the customer called to say that there was a hole in the radiator, and he took it to his mechanic, and had it fixed for $700+, and he wanted us to pay for the repair.
