My name is ***.. I am a retired GE manager. We never ever had a bad Customer Support organization and even experienced such as that now established within the GE Appliances Division, and specifically GE Appliance repair. I am on my 7th service call on a stacked GE Washer/Dryer unit. Even after a qualified GE Tech identified and ordered parts and even scheduled service on his computer in my kitchen the Logistics and Administrative side of the group screwed it up. Buyer Beware: I bought a brand new GE Dryer from ****** **** **********t March 2019. Three months after buying this dryer it stopped working. I have been without a dryer for almost 5 weeks. The repair company has come out multiple times and still my dryer is not fixed. Lowe's said after 30 days it's not their responsibility. GE said their policy is, if it can be fixed they won't replace it. Are you kidding me I'm a mother of four children, my dryer is not even 6 months old and there is nothing anyone will do about it? If i could leave zero stars i would. I purchased a GE profile refrigerator just over a year ago and the water/ ice, and freezer lights stopped working months ago. I have had multiple repair guys come out replace board after board and it is still not working. Consumer relations then said they would only give me a discount on a new one. Totally ridiculous! This a lemon! They should give me a new one.. spend 3500 on a refrigerator and have it die in a year is BS! Their consumer relations dept is useless! I would really like som... read more

Purchased a dishwasher and after the first year it started malfunctioning. I called GE and was given some steps to perform which did not help. About a month later the dishwasher started sparking and water flooded everywhere. I have not touched it since and when I called in absolutely nothing was done about this. I'm not sure if I am more upset about the confidence they have in their products or the fact that they don't care about the safety of their customers.

In 2017, exactly two years ago I bought a new GE compact stackable washer and dryer. My husband fixed the dryer...found a part on backwards so the drum wouldn't spin. Now just 2 years later the washing machine which is no longer under warranty does not spin the water out of the clothes. Had a repairman come to assess, changed something and it still didn't work. Another repair man from the same appliance center where I bought it came out, changed one board didn't help then changed the second board and it still doesn't work. G... read more

My wife and I purchased a brand new home on 12/2017 and it came with a GE refrigerator (************). The refrigerator went out on May 30, 2019. My wife called in an emergency work order and the technician troubleshot the system on May 31, 2019. He stated several parts where bad "coolant fan" and "terminal board" but the parts would need to be ordered. We agreed to have the parts replaced and the parts were ordered. Bought a new electric double wall oven. With in the first year a F97 code appeared once and then got more frequent thought out the next year so I called and complained GE would only cover 50% of the cost of the parts. Now it is less than 3 years old and still F97 code and will not work at all. So now GE will still only cover 50% of parts which I think they should stand behind the junk they sell and at least cover 100% of the parts and I'll pay for labor.

WARNING TO ANYONE THINKING OF PURCHASING A GE APPLIANCE WITH THEIR SO CALLED "PREMIUM FINISHES" ! The warranty on their finishes is 7 Days ! Yes , 7 Days ! We purchased 4 GE Appliances when we remodeled our Kitchen in October 2018. We are meticulous about cleaning the Stainless Steel stove top but there was a spill of water that when removed using only the special cloth intended for stainless steel surfaces left a nasty blemish , looked like some type of coating was defective. Just bought a $10,600 GE ******** refrigerator. I've had it one week and am going on my third service call. Customer relations is HORRIBLE. They have rote responses and cannot think outside the box. I had a subzero for 25 years and only one service call the entire time. I made a huge mistake buying GE ********
