Called them for service on Monday October 7, they arranged an appointment for the next day Tuesday October 8. Two hours later they called me back and changed the service call for Wednesday October 9. The tech arrive on October the 9th, and looked at my refrigerator which is not cooling. He said that I needed a new board, and he didn't have it on his truck. He would not be charging me for the service call today, and he will have the part delivered to my address in 2 to 3 business days. I will need to call them to arrange for ... read more

If I could give no stars I would - In mid-2018 I remodeled my entire kitchen and purchased a GE Fridge, GE Dishwasher, a GE slide in Stove, GE Microwave and a GE wine center. Today is October 8th, 2019. I installed the products in August 2018 but purchased a few months prior to installing due to my kitchen being remodeled. Installed approx. Aug of 2018 and within a 1 month time the stove stated throwing off error codes and shutting down while trying to cook. I bought GE Cafe top of their line ref. micro, dual-fuel double oven, and dish washer on 8/17/18. During the one year warrainty I had multipul problems with all these products which cost me days off work and inconvience. I'm currently waiting for the third base plate for the dish washer to be installed. Today the handel on the microwave came off in my hand as I opened the door. If I could put negative stars I would. I filled my brand new kitchen with GE profile appliances in 2016 when I built my house. Microwave, double wall convection oven, Dishwasher, and Electric touch control cook top. These are all near top end appliances at the time and far from cheap. First, I little over a year after installing the microwave, it quit working. Bought a sensor and replaced it myself out of warranty(by a few months of course). Bought a brand new GE electric dryer. Two weeks later, it won’t even turn on. I have a family of 5, all boys, and they booked a service appt for me and I called after not hearing from the service provider within 24 hours and I called them and they said they rejected the booking from GE. Of course no one called to tell me this. When I called GE back they said the earliest they can get me an appt is FRIDAY. We purchased a new home that installed a GE 30" double-oven **********. Slightly over a year later, the oven showed the F97 error code. A quick ****** search shows this code associated with one of the two fans being broken (the oven therefore will not work at all). We called GE and scheduled a technician to come out; there is a charge of $110 associated with this that they tell you is not applied to any subsequent repair. I have been dealing with their service department for 3 months now. My oven lasted a year and 3 months before control board went out. I paid 500 for oven and they wanted 950 to repair it. Which is insane. We worked out a deal since I have been waiting 3 months for a part to come in which made cost less. However all they send me is refrigerator shelves???? Instead of the control board. when I contact them they continue to tell me they will have someone open box to insure part but nope another refrigerator shelf( 3 so far now)... read more

I bought all new GE kitchen appliances a year and a half ago from wearier stallions for my new house. The refrigerator water and ice dispenser did not work properly from day 1, I’ve had GE appliance repair people over twice in 1 year and they temporarily fixed the problem. Now my 1 year warranty is over and I’ve got the same problem GE tells me to call a local service guy because it’s no longer there problem. You would think the brand name GE would be held to the highest of standards? Sadly.No. Not even close. My hardly used microwave of 6 years stop working. No power, nothing. Made the service appointment, technician comes out run his diagnostics check, says I needed parts that he didn't have and that he needed to order them and they would be delivered to my home the following week.
