I bought a brand new GE fridge/drawer freezer combo 17 months ago. I did not get the extended warranty assuming paying $2200 for a fridge would get me at least a few years. Well... I was wrong. The ice maker started leaking water inside the freezer. I called multiple appliance repair shops and could not find any that fix GE so I called GE directly and they said “well it’s out of warranty and we don’t have any repair technicians that service your area”. We purchased a brand new washer and dryer set in April 2019. In November of 2019 it stopped working. We attempted to have it repaired under warranty only to find out that the parts needed are on back order until, at least, February 2020. GE Warranty department has done nothing but submit a request to "Expedite" the part and continues to give us a run around instead of simply replacing the faulty equipment. I am now expected to wait a minimum of 3 months to see if a part will even be manufactured again for a brand new dryer. ... read more

Do not buy GE appliance. company does not offer Saturday services, I already miss 5 days of work in less than 12 months period, NEW APPLIANCES. Awful customer service, manager refused to give me an email to file a written complaint.

We purchased a brand new $2000 gas range in white in October (model JGS760DELWW) . It arrived damaged with a large portion of porcelain missing from the product. We contacted customer service and were at first only offered paint to fix the issue for our brand new range. This was only the beginning of our problems. Since then we have received SEVEN replacement parts all with the same issue. Large CHUNKS of porcelain missing from the corners. We purchased a trio set from ******. It took 3 months to arrive. The refrigerator 1,500 $ compressor went out at 16 months. They clearly have a 12 month warranty. Which tells they don’t make a quality product. By the time we would pay for service call and repairs we could get get a new one. Which will NOT be a GE!

Purchased new dryer Aug 25 from home depot. It was delivered aug 29. Go to use it, it's making loud noise in drum. A week later the circuit board blew. They sent repair guy out. Didnt fix it. Another repair guy comes out. Shows us all this internal damage. Not repairable. Ge had the nerve to call this repair company for saying it's not repairable. I bought GE Black slate appliances that were supposed to be delivered today. Instead, I received a call an hour after the delivery time saying they were not going to deliver any of our appliances due to the fact that the dishwasher was on back order. When we ordered the package, we were told everything was in stock. Now we don't have any appliances for another three weeks. I purchased a dishwasher made by GE 5 years ago. It is an 18 inch dishwasher and I paid $850 for it. The latch handle which is plastic broke. So I called GE to get a replacement part and they said they no longer make this dishwasher nor do they carry parts for it anymore. Again it is five years old. I searched everywhere and nobody can get this part. Called GE back and they said they couldn't help me. Ge has the worst warranty may as well not even have one .we had bought a dehumidifier after about 6 months it started messing up ,their solution was what they call a goodwill rebate where I get to purchase a brand new unit at full price then wait 8 weeks to get my money back .this should not be legal even take my advice and NEVER BUY A GE Product hope they go bankrupt
