If I could give 0 stars I would. we called to have our dishwasher fixed. we confirmed all our information & they still got the phone number wrong so no one showed up. scheduled online and this time they showed up but over 30 minutes late! our dishwasher isn't even 2 years old and it will cost us over $300 to fix it on a second appointment which they don't know when that will be! We will be canceling the appointment due to our experience and will be buying a new dishwasher through a different company.
We bought our parents a new GE side-by-side refrigerator - freezer drawer underneath (GFE28HSHSS Model) a little over a year ago. It has broken down 3 times – and now needs a new motherboard, apparently. That part won’t come for at least a week - and meanwhile, they are trying to cool food outdoors. I bought a washer/dryer set from GE in June 2018. In November 2018 the washer stops itself during the cycle. Still under warranty, I contact GE and after a week they send a technician from over 100 miles away ( even the tech didn't know why). He quickly diagnosis the bad part contacts GE to order it and they tell him it's on back order. I could not be more disgusted with the lack of product dependability I have experienced with my GE slide-in glass top oven. I purchased the oven a mere six years ago, spending far more than I could afford, with the notion that the oven would last me a long time. The electronic clock oven control gave out after only 6 years. I called an e-mailed the customer service team asking for a replacement part to be sent out. We recently purchased a new home, with the home came a GE Dishwasher Model GDF510PGJ2WW Serial# DH836XXX0B. This model does have an design issue with the soap dispensing door. The door does not open at the right time or the release system is not designed properly. I don't know where to start. Me and my wife purchased GE side by side fridge when we replace our old ***** side by side fridge. This last September it starts frizzing the vegetable (half of the fresh food side) and not frizzing at all in frizzier side. So I called GE for service. Words fail to express how disappointed I am in your response. When I remodeled my prior home, I used all GE Appliances. When my partner remodeled his prior home, he used all GE Appliances. When we remodeled our kitchen – less than a year ago – we used all GE Appliances. This included the microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and stove. The worst! We have a 2 months old oven range that need service. After 2 visit and 2 part orders, the 3rd happens today. The technician ****** is clueless on what the issue was. He then move on to disassemble the oven without turning off the electric breaker, nor the gas line. Guess what, something caught on fire, and he had to run to his van to grab a fire extinguisher! Purchased a GE induction cooktop 3/1/16 cooktop is down to 1 operable burner out of 5 on 10/1/18 called a repair tech repairs for cook top are almost as much as we paid for the cooktop when we bought it . Seems to me an item costing this much should last for more than 2.5 years
